Just visited on the off chance there would be a free table on a Thursday evening & we were lucky. We arrived around 18.30 & whilst it was busy it wasn't too busy & there was no wait. We ordered drinks completely unaware they were two for one! Which was a nice surprise when a whole tray turned up! Dinner was two chilli's one meat, one veggie & a steak meal. All were lovely and cooked to perfection. Just the right amount spice the chilli was great. Rice was cooked perfectly as were the blue corn tortillas. Would recommend for a relaxed meal with great service & good food
Went here over the April bank Holiday. It was Saturday at around 1pm so wasn't too busy. However when we arrived it wasn't clear if we could just sit down or had to wait. When we were seated the table was completely broken and couldn't even stand straight it wasn't un even flooring I asked for it to be changed and it seemed like a big Daniel Holmes. We ordered a drink before ordering food. We finally ordered food and when it arrived we had to wait another minute or 2 for cutlery when it should of already been there. Not only that my partner order something off the menu, that wasn't classed as sold out-when it came it had bits missing one being pickles this was the main part of the meal. My partner asked the waitress to which she wanted to double after a couple of minutes she said they'd ran out of pickles. - This main should of been crossed off the list - it's a bank Holiday so you order more ingredients and when we arrived it had only opened 2hrs before hand. - time my partner got her food back it was cold. The woman manager was very apologetic for the service and the fact we weren't told about items being unavailable- she gave us a free drink each. She was so lovely and quickly dealt with the situation. Such a gem and credit to the team.
Pre-booked Las Iguanas few weeks ago for yesterday for my friends and I. We had bottomless brunch. Our waitress was Courtney. What can I say absolutely marvellous service from her. Very efficient and polite. Lovely food and lots of cocktails. Definitely recommend a visit.
Visited as a walk in on 17/11/22, for my friends birthday, we were seated promptly and served by the fantastic Laura during our time there. The cocktails were lovely, and 2for1 all day everyday? Can’t go wrong. As well as, we got a complimentary cocktails curtacy of my discount and my friend got a free birthday drink! The food was delicious and filling. We ordered two mains and two sides. However we struggled to finish, it was delicious. The lovely Laura was so attentive and kept checking on us, she was a right giggle to chat to and made us feel very welcome. I couldn’t be more grateful as she made my friend’s birthday night entirely. Thank you so much. I look forward to coming again.
Fast food.... there is nothing interesting or exciting about the eateries in Liverpool one, they are all fast food. Lovely staff, but tables were sticky from over cleaning taking the polish off, the menus were sticky as were the floors, stairs and the doors to the toilets. Toilets reasonably clean. 2 for 1 cocktails....ok but not particularly good cocktails. Food was ok but not noteworthy.
Visited early evening with a friend. The restaurant on arrival was fairly busy, although lots of tables available so seated quickly. The staff where friendly and engaging. Good selection of dishes on the menu. We had the Veggie Bean Burger and the Veggie Enchiladas, the food was well presented and full of flavour. The drinks where pretty good too with a 241 offer on the cocktail and the mocktail menu. We opted for the mocktails which looked great and tasted good also. Couldnt leave without having dessert, which didn't disappoint. It's been a good while since I'd last visited and I definitely make a return visit. Great location within Liverpool One, handy for shopping and a short walk from James Street Station and the Albert Dock.
Came here while visiting as have been to other branches and have been impressed. Staff very friendly and food great. Food came quickly and was lovely. Had the new boneless bbq rib and half chicken and 6 churros with 2 dips. Did prefer the old rack of ribs they used to do but this was still great. Of course also had the 2 for 1 cocktails. Would definitely recommend. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options on menu. Kid-friendliness: Was kids in there. Wheelchair accessibility: I believe they had a lift to the toilets.
We've eaten so many times at las iguanas the food is very good but today we were completely put off. Terrible atmosphere .. the bar tender eating a meal at the end of the bar , lots of dirty tables with empty glasses on, empty tables were stained showing they were not cleaned , and the new ordering system basically sucks. You now have a QR code at the table and are subjected to accepting cookies , trawling through various sites and giving personal information before able to order a drink or food. Added to the extremely poor WiFi and Liverpool 1 having a generally poor mobile signal it made ordering near impossible until I interrupted the bar mans meal. I won't be in a hurry to return to what was one of our favourite eateries You've let yourself down las iguanas
I have been here a few times now and each time I’ve had a brilliant experience, mainly because of the staff. The customer service of the staff is just outstanding. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted warmly and served quickly. The staff always go above and beyond too. Making conversations, helping with specific party needs and making adjustments. They are extremely friendly and professional too. The staff customer service truly makes the experience most enjoyable. I have introduced a few new people to Las Iguanas, and they are always pleasantly surprised and comment on how great the staff customer service is too. The restaurant also has a lovely atmosphere. It’s spacious, and there is also seating outside. The food is also good. They cater to all dietary requirements including Halal, Vegetarian and Vegan making it an extremely inclusive restaurant. There is a good choice of food, and two for one drinks on cocktails and mocktails. Unlike most other places, their mocktail list is an actual list, meaning you have a nice choice of non-alcoholic drinks to try. Overall, a really great place to visit. I would definitely recommend, and I will definitely be back!
Meals was fantastic. Although my partner was vegan, she found something that was suitable and that’s why we will be going back there for sure.
