We've been with Larkmead for a little over a year now. We've had to take our girl Ripley in a few times now, most recently for her spay. They took great care of her, the wound was really clean and put back together really well. She struggled with pain her first night home, the on call emergency vet was really helpful. We managed to book our follow ups at times that suited and everything ran so smoothly! Thanks for taking care of our girl!
I'm absolutely devastated a week ago took my beautiful girl to the vets with a limp,the vet had manipulated her back legs. 2 days later she could hardly get up,Sunday visited the vet again and was told arthritis and given painkillers. A week to the day woke up to her sicking up blood by 7 am she died in our arms!!!!!
All our pets from Chickens to Dogs have been with Larkmead in Didcot for over 20 years. The staff are incredibly professional, empathetic and supportive. They are always focused on providing the best quality of care to animals.
Absolutely amazing vets!! I can’t recommend them enough! I took my sausage dog sausage in after she was hit by a car as an emergency call. They got us in as soon as we arrived, were so helpful and supportive. She had surgery and was kept in for a few days, they updated me multiple times a day throughout. Brilliant care, I felt like my dog was in safe hands! They are so reasonably priced. I decided to continue her aftercare program at LarkMead rather than our local vets because I feel so confident with their care! Thank you all so much!
I brought my budgie as I was told through phone they will be able to take of it. In the end no tests were done, it wasn't very informative. I asked on the reception for a copy of a notes that were done by the vet so i could have it, but my request was ignored and I received just an invoice. Ladies on the reception are not very welcoming, or maybe just they don't like foreighn people. I paid over 50£ and all i got were some silly drops I could have buy in my local pet store. On my way back I got more help in a local pet store were they sell mostly birds and reptiles. I took their advice and my Budgie is healthy again.nMy advice- don't go there if got a bird or a reptile. Waste of time and money.
