Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing place I've ever been. The owners are brilliant,friendly, and welcoming, if you need anything just ask. The farm lively and busy , plenty of things to do walking biking or visit local areas. Brilliant place for star's watching or just chilling out, whatever you want to do stay here good price and wonderful place.
There were 7 of us on this trip and The Beltie Byre was perfect for us. Downstairs, there is a huge open plan kitchen/dining room/living room and a very comfy sofa and large TV. There is also an en suite double bedroom, a family room and and a separate bathroom on this level. Upstairs there is a twin en suite bedroom and a really huge 'loft conversion' style room which has a sofa bed, a TV, comfy chairs, games etc. The layout meant that there was plenty of space for us to spread out and not get under each other's feet always handy when it's a family group!. Zan and her husband were very friendly and accommodating but not intrusive in any way. We would not hesitate to book again when we need another place for a group of 6+ It was January 2020 when we visited so it would be nice to go back when the weather is better and the days are longer, to make the most of the outdoors.
Beautiful spacious cottage in secluded countryside near Dumfries. Highly recommended for a family holiday.
What a lovely place to stay clean and spacious and very peacefull
Quiet, comfortable. A real home from home away from it all
A wonderful agritourism farm. It was our second time there. We spent only four days there, but my grandchildren were delighted to be able to feed the little sheep. The hosts were very helpful and found time to talk despite their hard work on the farm. If possible, we will definitely come back there. I highly recommend this place, even for a short break.
A great place to relax. I was there for the second time and I will definitely go back there.
