Larcomes have poor communication as they fail to update their clients in an adequate timeframe and have disrespectful staff who ignore your phone calls and roll their eyes at you when attending early for a meeting. Formal complaint was responded to but only one instance was acknowledged and fault accepted. The senior property lawyer defended his staff and believed that exchanging a property on a Monday and moving on the Wednesday in the same week reflected the companies high standards - and this is just highlighting one experience. Highly recommend avoiding this company.

We hired them in freehold leasehold dispute,  estimated price was £ 2000 which doubled on the end, we lost our case due to them. the judge first thing said have we served s 47 48 notice,  this Solicitors we hired a month prior our case had no knowledge to advise us to service the correct notice. Yet they doubled their fee. The only thing they had to do, check the process rearrange the hearing,  if we not correct, we had plenty of time I didn't even paid the hearing fee until last day, serve the correct demands and we start again,  we would of win! Lack of knowledge and they don't have duty of care of they clients. They were just after money regardless. We won't use them again.

Fantastic service when we moved house.  Paul and Nicola were brilliant and ensured a stress free move. We would highly recommend.

Especially Lee Elley for conveyancing. She was always helpful, very quick on emails and always happy to talk on the phone. I would strongly recommend her and her team. Made our purchase and sale much easier than otherwise.

Over the past two years Larcomes LLP Solicitors have helped me with matters relating to my father’s passing away. They have helped me with sorting out “power of Attorney” over my mother. They have helped me to sell my mother’s property and to buy a new property for my mother. They have helped with legal matters relating to a completely unnecessary car crash that sadly affected my family so. I have discovered during this time that having good solicitors behind you is in fact the inexpensive option. I have had dealings with several solicitors at Larcomes to date and I have to say that this company is a god sent. They are extremely polite, professional and an efficient team. Their advice and way forward has been spot on every time and their costs are most reasonable. I could not praise them enough. Have a problem? Talk to them, they are top draw in my humble opinion.

I called on Friday morning about getting a document signed. The receptionist was very helpful  and put me through to someone who could help. Within half an hour I was in the property having my document witnessed. Quick, efficient and helpful.

In comparison to dealing with other legal firms in Portsmouth, Larcomes most definitely out shines them all! Would not hesitate to use their services again in the future.  Particular thanks to Jess Tooley for her professionalism and attention to detail.
