We had my mother in laws 60th lunch at Lanes in their private dining room. The food was delicious, the staff were attentive and faultless. Fab drink selection. Kids catered for. Highly recommend and we will be back!
Let's just say the chef had an off day, the front of house team were great, the meals we had were not very good, the manger nor the chef could come out in person to say sorry, they left this to the front of house person, who was great. We were give a free coffee and the glass of wine I had taken off the bill, thank you. The menu is very basic, which is ok, but you just need it cooked nicely and to taste good? I'm sorry but we will not be back, there are some good eating place in Benfleet but the Lane's we visited tonight was not one of them?
Great food with a relaxed atmosphere with very good customer service. Ideal for a relaxed meal with partner and family alike. Sunday lunch is extremely good value and will definitely be going back.

Went here for my birthday. Date night without my son, nice atmosphere, food was really good, service was too. Ideal for couples enjoying a quite night and some good food.
3 out of 4 meals where completly wrong. 1 of which got sent back 4 times and was still wrong. Manager and owner took the 3 starters off the bill as a good will gesture and refused to do anything more about the matter. Will never return. Complete waste of an evening
Just had a lovely Sunday lunch good quality ingredients, excellent staff, piping hot food and plentiful - what more could you want. Would highly recommend.
Was apprehensive as thought it was a youngsters bar but we had Great food with a great atmosphere. Will definitely return.
We had our wedding reception there this weekend, the staff were friendly and the cold buffet we asked for there more than we expected well done to the lanes and there staff for making it the best finish to our wedding
Went last night for my birthday. Very friendly. Lovely food. Highly recommended
