We took a group of seven 5 adults and 2 children for a birthday meal. The drinks were ordered and swiftly arrived and then ordered the food. We had six starters, seven mains and six desserts. The food was of good quality, hot, and was very tasty. The menu is very heavily leaning on cream instead of traditionally prepared, so a point off for that reason. It's very small and somewhat quirky, but this adds to its charm. £210 for everyone, but we didn't buy alcohol as two of us were driving. All in all a very good experience. It does get very busy, so booking is essential.
This is probably one of the good Italian restaurant where you can enjoy your meal while having a good atmosphere and nice music on the back ground.nFood 10 at 10 of what you can expect from Italian cuisine.nClean spot on. I was impressed by how spotlessly clean are the glasses!nDefinitely recommend and coming back.
We’ve been to this beautiful restaurant a couple of times now, never been disappointed with the service or the quality and quantity of the food.nHighly recommend a visit.
Eaten here a few times a year for the past 10 years and each time the food and service are always superb. The fillet al pepe is my favourite dish and it's a beautiful cut of meat and cooked to perfection personal choice is rare - goes well with a nice glass of red or two. The staff are attentive and welcoming and will 100% be going back again - worth booking at weekends as can be busy.
I had the Pasta Piccante and the Panettone Bread and Butter pudding and I couldn't fault either of them, they tasted delicious. The service was great considering how busy they were at the time. A must-visit for Italian food fans!
