Lots of membership options. From what I hear they stay open most of the winter season unlike many inland courses, so good value. Saturdays are competition days. As a venue: easy to get to and plenty of parking. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the bar. There's a function room at one side and a games room (pool table) at the other. Excellent quiz, but I think it's members only.

DON'T BOOK SALTBURN GOLF CLUB FOR YOUR SPECIAL EVENT.
Booked and paid a deposit for 50th birthday party in July 2018 back in October 2017.  Was told this would guarantee my booking and take precedent over any other bookings.
Just received phone call to say the Golf Club have cancelled my party as they have an event that day.
Don't trust them to honour anything.

My first ever visit (with a party of 20+) and expected an above average experience after recent press talk of new kitchen and chefs, but not to be...
• large dining room to ourselves, but sterile canteen-like atmosphere
• no real ale!
• wholesome and tasty if unimaginative (given the recent fanfare) dishes from a set limited 2 course menu, but mean portions
• friendly and willing service but rather amateurish
• worrying to witness food being plated up at a serving hatch by a member of bar/waiting staff using bare hands - poor training or individual poor practice?
• two guests who were 'off menu' but who had pre-ordered were served 15 minutes after everybody else
	
Too much impressive competition elsewhere in Saltburn to think of hurrying back any time soon...if ever.

Really great course. Greens were in superb condition for november. 
Never ate in the clubhouse but we found a superb bar on the seafront for food.
