Extremely disappointed, this pet shop really seems to have gone down hill recently. We have been visiting this pet shop for years and had several pets from here. Recently we purchased a budgie, and the staff member getting the budgie accidentally allowed birds to escape into the pet room. The birds were panicking and flying into glass. Today we fell in love with three mice they had in store that had been there since summer. When we brought them home it became immediately obvious that one in particular has a severe URI, which means the other two are probably carrying the infection too. Absolutely disgusted it is not difficult to spot, we knew as soon as we opened the travel boxes at home. A good pet shop would have spotted this quickly, and these mice had been there almost 6 months! Really, really disappointed and we will most likely be spending upwards of £50 to get them healthy again. When we phoned up the staff member wasn't apologetic at all, and simply offered returning them for a refund. Truly disgusting and we absolutely will not be shopping here again.

This local pet shop is absolutely fantastic, so friendly and accommodating. We have always used them for our wild bird supplies as they stock a wide range of seeds and feeders. We don't have pets but at Christmas we had family stay for 3 weeks with their 2 border terriers. As they were travelling on public transport they didn't want to worry about carrying all the dogs food, crate etc up with them so I went to see the shop to see what we could sort out. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner and she made arrangements for us to hire a dog crate suitable for the 2 dogs, they don't normally stock the food my family use but she ordered it in for them and delivered everything up to us the day before our family arrived and collected it again the day they left. Just before they went home the dogs got very messy out on a walk so we had them groomed in the grooming salon and they came out looking and smelling fantastic. My sister was over the moon with the service and wished she had a pet shop like ours near her. Well done Lamberts Pet Supplies.
