Had q very nice Sunday lunch with friends busy but not heaving nit bothered about packing people in the restaurant was more than comfortable and large enough to accommodate two tables with babies in prams and enough space around tables for privacy. Roast was good generous and tasty although I'd have liked a bit more meat , the puddings dangerously moorish and a good portion too. Sticky toffee pudding to die for.
Just stopped off for a drink and breakfast on the way to Newquay. The wife and i had a bacon and egg sandwich costing £4 and it was delicious. The service was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The pub it self was lovely throughout and looked very well maintained. It's a shame the pub was so far from our destination as we would have loved to have come back for a meal. Highly recommended and well worth a visit if travelling through or staying locally. Food & drinks: The breakfast sandwich was excellent and the beer and ales had several choices.
So pleased we popped into this pub. Only went in for a pint, ended up staying for 3 barman is super friendly and polite, pool table and darts, great drinks selection, lovely furnishings and brilliant vibe. Can't wait to come back and sample some of the food!
stayed here whilst visiting our son in Wales and got caught up in the recent snow , the owners. couldn't be more helpful , we have always found the people of Wales to be friendly when we visit but these lovely people went above and beyond . lovely place to stay , clean rooms , lovely hot shower , can't recommend them enough . will now be our go to place when we stay in Wales . , remember, use your local family businesses or lose them. we will be back in the summer and looking forward to staying there again Dean and Sue
Amazing service. Amazing food. Lovely pub with food to die for. Reasonably priced too and the service is second to non nothing is too much. Will be a regular visitor. As the food is the best you will find for the priceRooms: 5/5
Been there many times for the buffet breakfast on Fridays. It’s a tenner with a cup of tea. It’s massive and very good quality. The owners are both lovely and the staff are great. Highly recommend.
A great local rural pub and resturant. Great service and staff. We have visited a few times as a couple and taken family for an excellent Sunday carvery. Always worth booking in advance. Well worth a visit, eventhough we live a few miles away.
Had a great Sunday lunch here, great carvery and great service with friendly staff, all of them, well worth a visit, will be back again.Service: 5/5
I've been to the Lamb twice now. The first time they organised a wake for my late wife, which I have to say was excellent. Craig the landlord did me proud, there was more than ample food in the buffet and his staff were very attentive bringing around tea and coffee for the mourners. Thank you to you all. I went there again last Friday, instantly Craig remembered me we had a fantastic meal there and were made to feel very welcome by all. I will definetley be a returning customer. Thanks again Craig
Lovely lunchtime menu food great too, staff nice an friendly, an nice atmosphere inside, will be bk again .
