Very welcoming pub, landlord and landlady were very nice and we found a very friendly atmosphere in the place. A good menu plenty to choose from. Our dog was allowed in with us as well!

Traditional old fashioned pub, lovely warm welcome from the landlord and landlady, food was delicious and very reasonably priced too. Highly recommended for that old fashioned pub feeling, we loved it.
We felt very welcomed by the owners, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. If you’re looking for an authentic Welsh pub with homely food you’re onto a winner. Don’t let first impressions fool you. Doesn’t look like much from the outside. But a lovely surprise. Hope to return.
Popped in Monday afternoon, rather quiet obviously. Lovely homely pub/bed and breakfast which also does food. On the main road through talgarreg. Friendly welcome and great outside space with tables, plenty of car parking also.
Great food and owners friendly and helpful
This place is ace. Beautifully cooked rare steak was a real treat. The kids loved the chicken tikka masala too. Clean plates all round. They also welcomed 9 of us at short notice. The owners are retiring and selling up asap I believe so here's hoping it doesn't get over modernised. Superb with kids too. Thanks :-
Very friendly and helpful. Great food, quiet peaceful beer garden. Well stocked bar. Clean and comfortable. Felt so at home. Will definitely be visiting again! Thanks!
