Authentic, tasty Malaysian food, cooked by chefs who know the cuisine and served by staff who respect the customer. Laksamania has huge portions at very reasonable prices. The ingredients tasted fresh and I had absolutely no issue with the food whatsoever - delicious!
Hands down the best Malaysian food I ever had in the UK and maybe Asia too!. The flavours were authentic and beautiful balanced. Laksamania elevated the cuisine by using high quality ingredients and cooking the meat and seafood to perfection. Do not miss the satays as they are insanely delicious and you get this lovely burst of lemongrass and aroma of charcoal grill in your mouth. We were lucky that the kitchen prepared us a very traditional lunar new year salmon salad yee sang which looked so beautiful with the finely chopped vegetables and served with a sublime plum dressing. All my mates were blown away by it. Restaurant decor is modern and good overall service. A rare gem and highly recommended.
Everything about the experience at Laksamania was AMAZING, from the super friendly staff to the delicious food. I ordered 3 starters to share and a main: Extra-Large Soft Shell Crab With Salted Egg Yolk, Supreme Spare Ribs, Deep Fried Duck Rolls and Signature Beef Curry Lo Mien. Everything was delicious but the highlight was definitely the crab: delicious flavour and very crunchy. I really like that they’ve used salty egg in the crab, bringing it to the next level. The ribs were sticky and juicy, very authentic. The duck rolls were super packed with duck. The beef lo mien was coated in delicious spicy sauce and the beef was really tender. Would fully recommend, and worth the money for the amazing food!
Spicy authentic Malaysian cuisine. If you aren't a friend of spicy food, this might not be the best option for you. I enjoyed a chicken curry laksa which was tasty. Just want to give you a piece of advice - chicken comes in larger pieces with bones and skin so it can be a bit tricky to eat if you aren't a chopsticks professional.
One of the more authentic Malaysian experiences in London. The soup noodles are hearty, and the satay, dare I say, is the best I’ve tasted outside Malaysia. And to top it all off, the chendol!
Tasty food in here, I really enjoyed it. Prompt service. Spacious inside. But it can get busy, so they ask for the table back after 1 hour which I was told beforehand. There is an open kitchen in the underground floor. Surprisingly, a chef came round to ask diners how the food was. Considering this is not a posh place , this was a nice surprise.
We shared the chicken satay and had the Singapore laksa each. The chicken satay was good and the laksa had a generous amount of seafood and the broth had a good kick. We felt a little rushed at the end given we only had the table for just over an hour but they were polite about it.
Amazing Authentic Malaysian cuisine! Recommended by Uncle Roger. The best Malaysian restaurant I’ve had so far in London! The Malaysian Satay lamb skewers were perfect, the meat were well marinated and was tender and juicy served with a nice satay sauce. Ipoh Curry Laksa was mind blowing, packed with very nice flavours and the Nasi Goreng was also really good. The Homemade Cendol was just ok as I expected better. Service was ok and prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would come back again to try other dishes. This is a must visit restaurant!
This is the place for good Malaysian food. The outstanding dishes for us tonight was the chicken satay and the char kway teow which was smoky and super flavourful. Very authentic. We had 3 laksas. All very good but probably more like a Singapore Curry Noodles versus a true Laksa. Portions are generous too!Food: 5/5
Arrived with two sleeping toddlers in prams, despite being busy, they accommodated us immediately. The restaurant has a lift so we went downstairs, parked up prams and enjoyed the food. Singapore laksa was delicious, the Wat Tan Hor is also recommended and the chicken satay sticks were divine. Kid-friendliness: High chairs and has a lift. Wheelchair accessibility: Has a lift
