Stayed here on a Saturday evening in June. Great pitch, facilities are clean and there are multiple toilets and showers not something every site has!. Site was tidy and Nicki the manager is super helpful. Site is well located for the promenade and harbour for pubs, food and walks with great views. Only reason it’s not 5* is there aren’t any amenities such as a shop etc, but we will be back!

Arrived to a very friendly welcome nothing too much trouble, the site has new management, reception is smart.nSorry but now the NegativesnHave been many times to this site and was told the site had been tidied etc, butnThe pitches get flooded, when raining, the grass and hedges need strimming, the pitches need weeding. The facilities block was clean but really needs modernising, the toilet roll not in holder's just left on shelf, paint everywhere not neat, needs a deep clean throughout, the shower heads dribble. Taps have red tape for hot tap!nYou need to spend 15minutes looking closely at the facilitiesnAnd decide if you would be happy to bathe.nDon't let this put you off, very friendly close to town, shops places to eat etc.nRecommend Chinese Hot Wok
Lovely park loads to do close by,nNo one on site to see but only a few mins across the road was office if needed anything, water and electricity at plot so no need to carry water around, best of all for those with children free washing machines and dryer harbour and lakeside views. Shops close by and 15 min drive into Clacton on sea.
Very nice park, hardstanding for Van's with grass area for awning. Not necessarily on the corners. Everything within walking distance and plenty of long walks for the dog!
