Tend not to review shops but I like Lakeland. I buy accessories for my chocolate truffle making hobby. The parchment is particularly good. Also a great cafe for breakfast. Generally sells good quality good. Close to ttain station and Booths.
Lakeland coffee is really nice place to visit because you expect good standard of service. Artesian bread with full breakfast... I can't say nothing wrong and lovely taste of blood orange tea just make your day....thanks to all staff. Anyway next time see you there....
Ended up here kind of by accident and stayed. There is so much to see and explore. The staff was kind, friendly and very hospitable. We will be back for purchases. We also visited the cafe. The staff was friendly and we tried their two gluten free options. Simply delish. We are going back for that too! We did go back and had lunch before the train. Such delight food! What a gem of a store!
Nicely laid out store with really helpful and friendly staff which are always on hand to help you find what you need. Lots of demo products available to try out. We went in just to browse and managed to find things we needed.
We had the festive turkey, and my 4 years old crispy chicken with fries. The apple juice and coffees was very nice, but the turkey dish was fabulous as we are fussy. Was the best lunch that I had in 6 years in Windermere. Amazing job and lovely staff. Highly recommended and appreciated Thank you all for a late Christmas lunch.
Superb customer service from Draghma and Jo Anne when we shopped without having our loyalty card with us. Nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciated the level of customer service. Fabulous lunch and afternoon tea too! Thank you ladies, a great start to our holiday!
Just sat in the cafe at Lakeland Windermere having I think the best scone and cup of tea ever and I’ve had a lot!. The staff are obviously understaffed however they are calm, polite and are absolute grafters! They are a credit to the company. WELL DONE!
Well, I've been generous giving this place two stars. And that's because it's neat and clean with spotless toilets. So what about the other three stars? Well, they've been dropped because of the consistently seriously inflated prices across the store. For heaven's sake they were selling a blender for £699. That's about £100 more than you can buy the equivalent on-line. And even the on-line price is outrageous isn't it. How can any blender cost that much. Anyway, on a more mundane level they had 20 bin liners on sale for a whopping £5.99. In ASDA you can get 45 bin liners for £1.10. Or they had a potato peeler on sale for fully 10 times the price you'll pay in Poundland for a perfectly serviceable alternative. No, the prices in Lakeland Plastics wholly justify the dropped stars. All the customers we saw either had nothing in their baskets or only a couple of the least expensive items. Looks like they agree with me about the prices.
Really helpful staff in the shop and cafe. Amazing tomato, chilli and coconut soup. Excited to try out my new purchases. As usual we will be back again.
This bright airy store is amazing with thousands of cooking, baking and it seems every other food/drink preparation device that is made. I recommend allowing at least an hour to browse all the display stands. Don't leave without visiting the restaurant upstairs whether you want coffee and cake or something more substantial. The menu is full of special treats. Make sure you are hungry if you order afternoon tea.
