Great attraction. Fish and chips ridiculously expensive. £11+. How are the many pensioners and ordinary working people visiting supposed to afford that. Looks like a jump on the price hike bandwagon to me. Shame!! Always lovely to see the fauna. Some common species, some not so.
Hard to park ,impossible weekends ,nice walk with loads to see pesky wabbits every where ,socialising squirrels asking for nuts ,fish jumping for fllys swans ,geese,ducks native and not xxx
Considering it's a disabled parking spot the spaces are very tight to get into but overall you can usually find a space here if you are a blue badge holder or at one of the other car parks in the area. It's always busy regardless of the day or time you go but it's a beautiful place with stuff for all to enjoy.
The car park was very busy even though it was a Monday lunchtime. We had to go round to the other car park just past the Wine Press bar. Also busy with large pot holes. Watch out you could damaged your car.
Best car park at Hollingsworth lake as long as you don't count the other car parks. Full of pot holes and an uneven surface that would count as a ride a Alton Towers. Hollingsworth Lake is worth the visit tho and prices are to die for.
Good walking country and a popular caravan and camping site.
Lovely day up at Hollingworth Lake, had a meal , then sat by the lakeside eating an ice cream cone from Thompsons chippy.
Very popular and because of that usually there are no spaces. One of the pay-to-park machines accept contactless and card payments.
It's a car park ! What can I say? Good value £1 for 2 hrs parking with great views.
Busy but had a pleasant few hours by the lake
