Popped in for a Sunday Carvery that we had actually won on a price draw.nThere was plenty of free parking & for a large venue, had a nice friendly atmosphere.nThe staff were helpful & accommodating.nThe food was nice and plentiful.nA positive visit - we shall return.
This site is amazing! One of the best my family have ever been to, ranging from the swimming pool, the all-day entertainment, the site in general, etc. There is a park near the pitches which is great, since we have quite a few young ones in our family and it keeps them entertained. However, if I could make one suggestion… the toilets near the pitches could do with disabled facilities, as when I came with my family there were no disabled facilities in the toilets near the pitches. My mother is disabled, so disabled facilities in the toilets near the pitches would be amazing, thank you! The toilets are really clean and they aren’t too far away from the pitches either! The site itself is also really clean, it seems and looks like the site is well looked after. Would definitely come to this site again, as it is one of the best sites my family have been to. The site is a bit expensive, but that is expected with all of the stuff this site offers. The food and drinks in the main building where the all-day entertainment gets held is amazing. There’s also a play area, a sweet machine, and a few other machines in the main building! It would be hard to get bored in the campsite. In conclusion, this is an outstanding site and it’s worth staying at!
This place has a fantastic location, offering great amenities like a pool, play area, bar, launderette, and the added bonus of being a secure facility. It's great to have all these features, but they are starting to show signs of needing a refurb. The pool, while enjoyable, has a bit of mould, and though the bar staff are excellent, the bar itself could use some attention. The toilets are kept clean but feel a little tired. I still highly recommend the place overall, but it could benefit from some updates compared to other places we've visited
Stayed for the weekend at a lodge, seemed to be very new and in great condition, nice site for a short break away.nGood pool and facilities. Staff all very friendly and welcoming. Food was ok on site similar to westherspoons but good price for what you get. Function room could do with a little updating but good size area, daughter enjoyed the soft play and entertainment!
Nice site for our first camping trip as a family. Both pools have slides and although the app is a bit clunky, it’s easy enough to book slots. They advise you add yourself to the booking even if you are sat on the side.nnI loved the fact that you get to find your own pitch and even on a busy bank holiday week, there were plenty to pick from.
