Story

La Crepe Escape is a contemporary Creperie and Coffee House. We cater for all age groups and offer a wide range of savoury and sweet crepes (pancakes), waffles, toasted sandwiches and ice cream sundaes.

We can offer gluten free crepes and soya coffees and milkshakes for those with particular dietary requirements and we have a range of vegetarian crepes such as feta, spinach and tomato or vegetable chilli.

Great little place with a fantastic selection of food, sweet and savoury. Very reasonably priced too. Staff were were kind and friendly and we were very comfortable with 2 adults, 6yr and 2yr old plus our buggy. Will definitely visit again when we are in town. Kid-friendliness: Had great little high chairs that worked great for our 2yr old and they were very accomodating.

Lovely Primavera crepe with plenty of melted cheese.... and the most amazing milkshakes! So thick and creamy you definitely don't need a dessert. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian choices - would've been nice to have seen mushrooms and walnuts included but the options were OK.

4 years ago - This is my favourite place to go for a cheeky treat! I live 30 minutes away however I will totally drive to eat here. I even take friends as a treat! It's totally worth the trek. The crepes are amazing! I vote for the rocky road.. I'm salivating just writing this! My husband opts for the chilli crepe followed by whichever pudding crepe takes his fancy! I really must remember to take photos but I'm always too excited to stuff my face and forget to take one! The staff always so friendly and welcoming and there's a calming atmosphere to the place that makes you want to stay and chat all day! Definitely the place to go if you want something yummy in somewhere with a relaxed atmosphere! Today - I've been back here again today! I travelled to see some friends and it was the perfect excuse for a visit. Absolutely lovely food as always. Absolutely spotless! Comfortable relaxed atmosphere. I know there are some reviews on here about being ignored at the table - you have to go to the till to order. Also due to the small kitchen there can be a bit of a wait when it's busy but they do tell you this when ordering. It's totally worth the wait though! As for people saying it's expensive I wouldn't say it is but maybe that's because I've eaten in more expensive places in the area that aren't as good as this little gem ‍ I will say it is quite small so although it has wheelchair access and a disabled toilet if it was busy it would be a little tight. You also can't reserve a table so there can be a wait for a table if it's busy. There is plenty of options on the menu both waffles, crepes and toasties. There's also a children's menu. If you've not been to Princes Risborough before I would suggest parking in the mount car park round the park which was only £1.30 for 3 hours!!! Last point to note - the milkshakes are amazing!!!!!
Lovely Café and great service. I only gave 3 stars because my spinach egg and cheese crepe was totally bland. I can't say I enjoyed eating it. My husband ordered the bacon brie and cranberries. I had a taste of it and it was tastier than mine.
Amazing little cafe on the highstreet, good value and very tasty! We had the mars bar crepes and were not disappointed!
