There’s always been something truly special about La Bodega, something which can’t ever be recreated, and so it’s time it came home again to Ranelagh. From the buzzing atmosphere and tremendous guests, to the incredible Spanish food and stunning wines, all of which conjure up beautiful memories of holidays gone by.A new look, but the same delicious food and still the warm welcome and familiar faces, on both sides of the table. Overall: not bad neither incredibly good. I'd like to come again and try their dinner. Pros: good quality of food. Nice vibe although design is a bit too much to my liking: not too loud, which is crucial if you meet friends there. Super attentive service. Prices are what you'd expect there Ranelagh, meaning 15-20 per person for brunch. Portions are fair, not too big consider ordering a side if you're hungry. Cons: the coffee isn't on the menu -- okay? -- and it's from Nespresso pods... Unclear how one can charge regular barista prices when the quality is noticably lesser. If it wasn't for this flaw, I'd give 4 stars.
The food and service was very good. The cocktails were amazing as well. Also a really nice garden area to sit and enjoy the sun. The only negative is that there is beer only in a bottles.
Delicious, great service, and very chill atmosphere.
Very sweet food! Surprised because Spanish cuisine isn't usually so sweet... it was nice and portion size was great however I will note that even dishes such as fried goats cheese were very sweet.... Lovely experience with the heated garden though! & the waiters were very well... 3 star for food, 5 star for experience so 4 overall!
We asked for the Tapas dishes 5 of them to be spread out. The waiter said "no problem " but they delivered 4 of them together and the 5th half an hour later. The quality of the food was great though.
Amazing food and waitresses, I wish the same could be said about management! Management seemed to be chaotic and with little experience. Tense atmosphere! “Don’t sweat the small stuff” is my advice. Patatas bravas sauce was a little… spicy, if you know what I mean
The service was brilliant. Very attentive staff but no rushy. Food was 10/10 and good value for money
Had an enjoyable dinner here. The food is fresh and tasty. Heavy on the garlic which isn’t my personal favorite when it gets too dominant.Recommended dishesPatatas Bravas
Visited here and was blown away by how nice the food was and relatively cheap especially for eating out nowadays - excellent service and food. Goats cheese balls and meat balls were fantastic. Would definitely recommend going here and I'll defo be back in future.
This was our first ever Spanish cuisine try... and it was awesomeeeeee.... We totally enjoyed the food here... The staffs were very friendly... They also have good list of vegan options... Overall it was a great evening with great food from La Bodega...
