L'Absinthe is an excellent French family restaurant. Good food and cheerful service, I'll never get tired of it!
..I'm walking into the buzzing restaurant, closing the door behind me and suddenly I'm in Paris. Snails in garlic butter, beef bourguignon, great wine. This is a place you can go for mid-week lunch or take your partner for romantic dinner. I cannot wait to visit again soon.
Real French food with real French service level interaction. Try the profiteroles, and the steak, the onion soup and the parfait and... Well. Try it all.
The food was quite tasty and the place was nice. Unfortunately, the staff is not sympathetic and avoids the client.
A really nice and really authentic French bistro. The next door cafe is great for a quick sandwich and other French staples. The bistro on the corner is a well chosen menu that would hold its own in Paris. One of the best quality and value meals in the neighbourhood.
This is our favorite local. Food and wine are good, seating cosy. What really makes this place different are the team that run it. All over-the-top French in a way they don't take entirely seriously themselves. Yet they make you feel seriously welcome. They also operate as a wine shop - so we often stop by just to buy a bottle
The food was very delicious and the service and atmosphere were pleasing! Thank you very much!
