TPM valve damaged causing flat tyre and replacement valve was put in and tyre inflated by an emergency tyre company, but not the required TPM valve. I drove to Kwik Fit just after lunch, explained about my broken valve and the urgency to continue my NC500 journey, within an hour the valve was repaired and put in for a cost of only £24. Excellent value and super Kwik! I can’t recommend this branch of Kwik Fit enough!
Got a puncture heading back to London after week’s fishing. While Kamal and his team didn’t have a new tyre, they went the extra mile trying to source note to self carry a spare they advised on hotels, gave me a taxi number, and got a new tyre sent up so that my journey wasn’t unduly delayed. If you’re going to suffer the misfortune of a flat tyre then I highly recommend doing it with driving distance of this northern outpost of Kwik Fit.
I had my business vans rear brakes changed out at this branch. All staff were friendly and professional and completed the work in a timely manner. Being in business myself, sometimes there are difficult customers. Whilst waiting in the waiting area, I observed a few other customers coming and going. Some were quite challenging for the staff, some were actually rude. I was impressed at the way the Kwik fit staff handled them, staying friendly and polite at all times. Difficult customers are a challenge, but the team at your branch handles them courteously and in a professional manner.
We blew a tire just moments before arriving at our Air B and B. We called the emergency services provided by our rental car company. They directed us to Kwik Fit Plus Longman road. We were short on time for our visit and understanding our time constraints the manager Kamal Singh and staff were very accommodating. We were prepared for waiting all day and in less than an hour we were out the door. They were very busy and still worked to get us on our way. Staff were amazing and efficient in helping us get on our way! Thank you Kwik Fit Staff!
I had a flat tyre and needed a minor puncture. They told me I can't fix it today. I have no room as fully booked and I have to come back on Monday 4 days later. I asked them to help as it's only a 5-minute job but, no luck. The manager was an Asian guy. He was very polite towards a white lady but with me he was not willing to have a chat.
The guy at the desk was friendly, gave me an idea of how long the work would take and said he would phone me. He then rang much sooner as another customer had not turned up, to say the work was done and they had also checked my tyres which I had meant to ask for! I returned and paid a good price and it was all efficient and I knew, from past experience, I could trust the work to be done well
If you are trying to call them, be advised the manager has put his phone in silence to avoid dealing with customers. Guy has no staff, no people skills and zero customer service. You better go to Halfords across the road, where mechanics are not hanging around scrolling on their phones and people is actually working. Everyone says it: Avoid Kwikshit
Myself and my partner were on a two week honeymoon away and while my partner was driving through Scotland we hit two pot holes on separate occasions which meant we had to detour to inverness to get the tyres checked. First time we were only there about half hour and an hour max the second time. The guys made sure everything was sorted both times in order for us to continue our honeymoon travels. Highly recommended, very friendly and went over and above to get the job done asap. Photos were just after we hit the first pot hole and emergency change of tyre to get to Inverness and then the wheel being changed at the garage.
Everything went smoothly, and everyone throughout the process of booking and me having to shift my original appointment last minute was top class.
Full set of 16" tyres fitted for £263. Had to wait four days to get them fitted. Saved a fair bit of money buying them online through the kwikfit website. Had to go back to get alignment sorted as no one in the workshop was trained to use the blowtorch when the tyres were fitted. Very impressed with the alignment. Steering wheel is centred correctly, car handles brilliantly and my fuel economy jumped up 10-20%. My car must have met a kerb or something in the past. I am very impressed. Worst thing was the website which isn't the fault of this branch.
