Decent food with average price. Biryani is a bit bland. Grilled chicken was pretty nice actually. Lots of seating. Shop was virtually empty when I was there.Food: 3/5
God, are these people trying to kill me. Look at the red chillis in this.. I could not even breathe, everytime I was coughing when breathing whilst eating and then I noticed just how much chilli's there were. I have never had such an issue where the food was so spicy that it affected my ability to breathe. Could not even speak at all. Unbelievable. With my stomach disease, when this goes down I will bleed and vomit.... I got this before and it was not spicy. I am heading to hospital tonight mostly likely..
One the best best kept secret of north London!!! Very simple place with fantastic food
Bland, cold and poor all around, unfortunately. I purposely chose a Pakistani restaurant and these guys had a decent menu, so I was quite excited to try the food. The food came in a decent amount of time, the price was also pretty good. Hence, 2 out of 5. We ordered the chicken madras, butter chicken, paneer saag, lamb biriyani, garlic naan and paratha. The butter chicken was more like a bland soup than a curry. The saag paneer, also very bland and watery. The madras wasn’t terrible and the biriyani was also okay, however, they were also both quite bland. Even the pilau rice was stale and dry. Lastly, an undercooked paratha that tasted more like a microwaved tortilla than a paratha. Overall, disappointed.
Food is very nice but needs improved as the curries tasted the same due to same gravy being used. Staff are friendly and price is reasonable for what your getting.
Worst Indian food I have ever eaten. Chicken Tikka Masala was bland, chicken was dry. Onion Bhaji’s were awful! Soggy, rubbery texture. Popadoms were stale and bendy! Our two curries were truly amazing dreadful. If I had received this food in a restaurant it would have been sent back ! The takeaway ended up in the bin… very disappointing!
Absolutely awful! Very disappointed, attempted to eat the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala and when bit into the chicken it made a crunch sound I spat it out and looked at it and it was still raw inside. The saag aloo and saag paneer were absolutely dreadful with no taste whatsoever so ever but reaked of dirty seaweed. Naan bread was stale, rice was tasteless. The whole thing had no flavour what soo ever and for an Indian dish/restaurant I was gobsmacked as I love Indian food but this was not Indian food in the slightest. Would never order again nor recommend this place if anything il advice people not to eat from there.
This is a traditional Pakistani food I ordered a takeaway and the food was delivered warm, the portions are a good size and the food was ok. It is made to please the non spicy palate, I will order from here as they are reasonably priced, local and a Pakistani chef. I have taken a picture of the lamb samosa and I’m not sure if there is any minced lamb in there, I did also have a veg samosa to compare and it may be that quorn minced is used. The butter chicken didn’t taste like butter chicken as it was made with cream and the lassi was tasty and refreshing but watered down a lot.
I have ordered a mango Laasi on the 1st of October 2021 at 9:00 pm. The restaurant delivered my mango laasi in a used milk container. This is a serious food hygiene issue. I don't know where the milk container has been. It could have been collected from the trash or SOMEONE COULD HAVE DRUNK IT ON THEIR MOUTH. This is a serious COVID issue. I am soo shocked to discovered this as I was expecting my drink to arrive in a plastic cup instead of milk container. The name of the restaurant is Koyala Lahore Restaurant. The address is 31 Seven Sisters Road, London, N7 6AX. Avoid this restaurant by any means. This deserves below -0 stars.
Koyla Lahore Karahi is one of the many Lahori cuisine in London. Just next to a bus stop so easy to commute. Also Holloway underground train station is in 10 minutes walking distance. Very good and friendly service. The size of whole chicken tandoori was huge. They have some good lamb dishes.
