We love this place! Food is always reliably delicious and service is excellent. Super friendly team. When we realised we could still get takeaways from them during lockdown the world went just a little back into colour.

My curry was nice but so grainy so disappointing I've ordered before and the consistency of the curry was not like this, luckily the flavour was still there but the texture was such a let down. It's literally a paste.. Smh

I ordered from this restaurant tonight via Uber eats after previously having takeaway from here multiple times. After waiting over a hour for my food I decided to call bengal Bertie’s to get a update on my food. I explained to the extremely unpleasant man who answered the phone that there is no tracking on this order so I just want to check if the order has left. The man on the phone proceeded to shout at me and ask me why I’m asking ‘stupid questions’ and went on to say if I ask ‘stupid questions’ he will give me ‘stupid answer’. After I asked him why he is shouting and being rude. He continued to shout and tell me my food left 20 minutes ago and that it’s due to ‘weather conditions’. I live 5-10minutes away and the main roads are clear. After waiting patiently I called back for a update and he continues to raise his voice. After that I received a notification saying my order had been ‘cancelled’. After calling back bengal Bertie’s to find out what is going on, I was told that ‘there are loads of other customers who cannot wait for their orders’ that’s why mine has been cancelled. I’m not sure why you have someone with such appalling customer service skills answering your phones but we will certainly not be ordering from Bengal Bertie’s in the future. I am extremely disappointed.
really impressed with this place and so thankful that it is pretty much my local curry house. will be coming back here for sure. my wife asked for a custom order and they delivered it to perfection.

What a dreadful experience. I have never experienced such rude members of staff. From when we complained about the portion size which was literally a quarter of a standard full regular sized takeaway dish, the response from the manager was "We have our customer base...." inferring that our grievance did not concern him in the slightest. My advise if you are someone in their "customer base" of this dreadful place, there are at least a dozen other genuine Indian restaurants in the area which are better quality, that don't cut corners on portion size and are not run by rude arrogant people. Avoid this place at all cost as we calculated the per kg cost of each dish is actually more than premium central London locations, and the quality is far far from premium.
Absolutely love BBs. Great food & great staff…a regular cosy hang out for me & my gals :
