A place with so much potential. Could be a really good place to play, but there is so much work needed to be done. Maybe this is why it is so cheap. Unfortunately the cheap price attracts a mainly chavy clientele. My advice would be to get rid of equipment that is broken or not working, invest in new equipment and repair damaged ceiling tiles, etc.
Good place for kid to play and partys
Kids always enjoy themselves here. It's a family run business and they are really nice people, who will go above and beyond. The Cafe is very reasonably priced bonus! and the areas were kept clean and tidy. On a bus route and plenty of parking spaces right outside.
All tired looking. Photos of play area for older kids, with ball pool, is small, slides are small and there are no balls in the pit. None of the arcade games work. Paid for 2 hours £4.30 each, but my kids were bored after 10 minutes. Not many staff, but they where helpful and friendly. I would say OK for kids around 7 and under.
I was a bit apprehensive after reading a few reviews but I was pleasantly surprised at the space and the amount of activities available. There is plenty for the kids to do and it even includes a bouncy castle. Great value and the coffee is pretty good as well! I will be going back for sure.
Although once you enter the doors there are stairs to access this venue, which is in an ex school building, i definitely reccommend going here. there is a clean cafe area, a private party function room and large spacious area for children to run and play. there is an option to pay for 1 or 2 hours which is great. There is an excellent toddler play area with comfortable sofa chair seating, and the main play area is fun for all ages too. there are other chairs further through for you to choose your preferred place to sit. There is also a bouncy castle at the far end and a pool table. I have been coming here for about a year now, and the children always have fun, so i can relax catching up with a friend, email, or a magazine with a cappucino ;-. The cold sandwich's are beautifully made, i have not ordered hot food but i have seen it ordered and iv never seen any problems. Staff have always been so wonderfully welcoming. i think it is family run here. Also the atmosphere has always been really sociable and open to chat to new people. iv never had a bad experience here. It is a quirky venue compared to a common warehouse setting, but i love the character of it, with brightly painted walls, pictures, and Disney music. Thank you Kool Kids for providing a haven.
Went here this afternoon with my mum and 9 month old baby, the place is tired and old and in much need of refurbishing. Clearly no money has been spent on the place in a while, eating facilities are unclean. There was one member of staff to manage the whole place including serving and delivering food. This member of staff was rude, abrupt and unfriendly. Tried to over charge us for drinks. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING. My advice would be to go to pirates play or escape play instead!
The indoor play area itself is pretty decent and prices are affordable. There's a soft play area for toddlers and a larger one for older children which is great as they are catering for different age groups. Also snacks and drinks available which again are reasonably priced, and a large carpark which is always a plus. Inside however can do with a touch of decorating as it does look abit dim to make the atmosphere a little better.
All these low ratings dont realise you get what you pay for ‍ its cheap so ideal for some people! And easy to get to if you dont drive. I personally like it here. Friendly staff. Of course they have to monitor who pays for their kids because they simply just run off to play before getting to reception. It's a little outdated but it's a small family run business ‍ my kids love it. It has a bouncy castle, small play area and a bigger one and there is some empty spaces at the back but I find kids just run around there anyway. Food is always good and cheap. My son has had his party here like 3 years un a row and we love doing it here. Think its reasonably priced. Hot and cold food option.they do the decorations, and give you party bags for like £7.90 a head. With 2 hours free play. Will continue to go here with my daughter too for parties until they get too old. And as for watching the kids that's the parents job so not really the company's problem ‍ highly reccomend
My daughter and her friend went off playing , when my daughter came back to tell me her friend was stuck, she had managed to get stuck down the side of the slide! When asking for help the owner stood there laughing whilst myself, the childs mum and another lady helped get her out. Not only did we have issues with paying my friend was charged £30+ on her card as he claimed the payments were never authorised… he became very rude and abusive! His language was atrocious and foul considering there was children around!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I STEP FOOT IN THAT PLAY CENTRE DUE TO HOW RUDE THE MAN WAS!!! Almost 3 weeks later my friend hasn’t been refunded for the money he claimed he never received.
