Had a great night. Opted for the restaurant, 3 course meal and at table booking. Staff a little slow and not particularly friendly.
Love the stadium, been here many times, great staff and lovely food in the restaurant.
It's a ok night out but very expensive for drinks for what's on pump If your making bets definitely use the totes there if you don't normally bet or want to put alot on like £1 each way = £2 But its a nice atmosphere wish they pull up people smoking though
Very nice tapas bar. Lovely staff and nice food.
Stood there for 30min in the queue just to find out that they don't accept debit cards first place in the UK I think in the 21st century. Besides I was told off by the guards that I can't record anything and I have to delete the video- despite it's broadcast on TV there was no sign informing about this. The racing itself was great
Great food upstairs also very friendly staff
Fabulous evening and good food. Table service for taking your best and with minimum stake just £1 made a great time, overall for the 15 races we only lost £6. So a very reasonable entertainment fee for otherwise non gamblers.
Been several times, this will be the last time I ever bother with the restaurant. Food is of poor quality, sent main course and dessert back as they weren't nice at all.
Great night out - go for it. Bring cash for betting. If you're upstairs having a meal then try to get a group of 5-6 to get a window table. If you're downstairs then wrap up warm as the doors open n close a lot with people in and out to the track.
We had waited since March to rearrange a night out that the venue had cancelled last minute. Our visit was not the lovely night out we had hoped for. Despite being at the restaurant early our food order was one of the last to be taken. The starters were fine, but the main courses were far from it. The beef stew and dumplings was mainly swede and had little or no beef content. The tiny half-dumpling was more like a rock cake and it was obvious that the small portion had been in the ramekin for many hours as it wouldn't pour onto the plate. Two of my companions had ordered pasta which initially came out cold. The garlic bread it was served with was stale. When they sent it back they were brought a plate of pasta and sun-dried tomatoes absolutely swimming in oil. It made them feel ill. Despite assurances that they would receive a phone call as the manager had gone home, this hasn't happened. I can't believe we paid £27 a head for that. To be honest I have eaten better school dinners. The portion sizes were meagre and the quality was atrocious. I for one will not go again.
