WORST EVER! Shame on you! Paying so much money to get lock into a woodbox for 45min! Only 4 puzzles to find so easy and no creative at all.. One of our pads which was supposed to guide us was running out of battery.. The speaker which was supposed to guide us was so cheap quality that we couldn’t hear anything.. I really don’t know where you get your “good reviews”…
This should be a 0, this company is a huge scam!! I booked an escape room experience back in a November and they cancelled with two days notice. I was told I would be refunded and on numerous occasions was told it would be by a certain date. I then received an email at the beginning of Jan to say they had gone bankrupt and would cease trading and someone would be in touch about my refund. I have heard 0 since then and they appear to be still taking bookings? This is actually appalling- how can you stoop so low to steal someone’s hard earned money. I will be taking further action and would suggest that nobody books with this company, absolute crooks.

I have done lots of escape rooms with different companies across the UK and this is bar far the best. Very immersive and atmospheric. We booked one, then booked the second room later in the day as the first room was so good. Great value for money and staff. Get it booked! You won't regret it.
We did the Doctor Frankenstein room. Really enjoyed this place, the games master was really nice and got us ready to go in, the room it self was really good. We did get a bit confused, but when we realised that we had skipped a few puzzles and opened a couple of puzzles without actually finding the clue for them then it all came into place. It was a tad dark in the room and at one point we had to move a puzzle to try and get it into some light, but it did create a nice atmosphere in the rooms. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend people to go and try it and we will definitely be going back to try their other rooms. Unfortunately I am giving it a 4 stars for a few reasons. When finished we didn't actually know we had completed the room, the man came in to Congratulate us which is the only reason we knew we had completed it. Whiles he was in the room at the end, I had a couple questions for him which he happily answered, but he started resetting the room while talking to us, which I felt was a little rude. Lastly there was no reveal of our time, I've done a few escape rooms before and there is either a clock in the room so we can see our time, or a Big reveal of our time when we finished. Unfortunately I had to ask how long we had left as we was about to leave and we was just told "about 3 minutes". We have a collection of photos from the other rooms we have completed with out time written on boards, and it's just a shame that we don't know the exact time we had left in here.
The room was one of the best rooms I tried in London, however the staff needs some improvement Still they were extremely nice and welcoming: 1-We asked for a clue for 15 minutes without any response from our game master. 2-We got 10 minutes late, the staff told us they have strict 5 minutes rule during weekends, she was kind to offer us rescheduling for the next week at the same time, what annoyed me that we waited for almost 15 minutes for the team before us to finish their room!!, that makes wonder about applying those 5 minutes rule on every team.
As the second Komnata location we've been to, the Drury Lane site is relatively small with two rooms, these being St. Angelo's Castle and Dr. Frankenstein. Both offer excellent challenges with some real fiendish puzzles. The rooms are staged very well and do immerse you completely in the experience. It's worth noting that Komnata keep their rooms free of any countdown clocks or hint terminals. The team offer prompts if they see you struggling so if you don't want that to happen it's worth letting them know not to help you along. We found that a team of four, tends to do best in these rooms. As always, a brilliant way to start an evening.
Second time we went and both times it’s been so much fun. Staff was really lovely both times, especially the guy we had today. He was really friendly and enthusiastic. He made us feel accomplished, even though we ran out of time.
My first-time experience of an escape room, with my 13- and 15-year-old daughters. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We found the rooms quite challenging but with the help of a few prompts/clues managed to complete the tasks and escape just in time.
