Popped in for lunch today. The cafe was full which I took as a good sign! Food freshly cooked and tasty. They only accept cash, so be prepared! Cafe was clean and tidy and the lady serving was very friendly.
Great cafe - popular with tradesmen which is always a good sign. Good honest food, healthy portions and proper mugs of tea. Cash only.Recommended dishesSpecial Grill Breakfast
Decent sized portions in a clean cafe. Parking at rear on a gravel surface. Cash only but a cash point is about 2 minutes drive up the road. Perfect for a stop and rest. Good choice of meals and breakfasts.Food: 4/5
Service, food very good and prices very good. Take note they only take cash, and wait at busy times quite long. Breakfast was worth the wait tho.
Stopped off for breakfast with a few mates on our motorbikes, wonderful breakfast although service was sloooooow, worth the wait. This was very busy and seems popular we will return. Clean comfortable welcoming.Food: 5/5
Was just a quick stop for a cuppa on the way back from looking for a new car but after seeing the nice food being served up had a Very nice sausage sandwich with real crusty bread great people serving very clean establishmentFood: 5/5
Very good food, well cooked and always served nice and hot, great prices can get particularly busy around midday expect a wait to be served of upto 45 mins but its worth it.Food: 4/5
You may have to wait a bit longer for your food so don't think your quickly pop in for something to eat as its quite await BUT Its well worth the wait Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staff Parking: Off the road its round the back
My mum who lives 5 minutes away from the cafe and kept saying to me what a great place to eat it is so instead of stopping on the motorway for breakfast my wife and I drove over 300 miles and 5 hours to get there. We were both starving by now so I was hoping my mum was right. We both ordered the full English which was served on a huge oval plate. It looked good and tasted great too and the best bit...just £4:60!! Amazing value for the amount you get. You can't go wrong by giving this place a visit.
An absolute gem. Everything a cafe should be. Good prices, clean and delicious food served fast.
