This is a wee B&B(A Victorian villa built in 1886) for everyone who has a connection to or interest in Scotland.

Story

About ten minutes walk to the train station allows convenient access to Edinburgh, or to friendly Glasgow to enjoy its superb shopping, free museums and many other cultural delights. With the M8 and other major roads close by, Stirling and Perth are also readily accessible. The not-to-be-missed Falkirk Wheel, Strathclyde Country Park and Summerlee Heritage Centre are but a few of the nearby tourist attractions within easy reach.

It's one of the best b+b I've ever stayed in comfortable, welcoming, really clean, great breakfast John and Sean are great host's. We go back time after time we've been going there for seven years.

Stayed here for 3 nights in July. A very short train ride to either glasgow or eddinburgh. We did one day in glasgow, one in eddinburgh, and then drove our rental up to Loch Lommond to get dat highland experience. All in all, we had an amazing time and the Knight's Rest was a great base camp for our adventures. Full english breakfast was great and the host John is very accommodating. If you're playing your trip by ear and looking for suggestions about things to see then John's a great source. Beds were comfy. Of course no place is perfect, and John was upfront about possible road noise from the street in front of the house. Me and my wife (reasonably light sleepers) had no problems at all when the windows were closed. Just saying it for full disclosure, I would definitely stay here again.
