Close enough to Glasgow not to be a pain to get into the city by car, but far enough out that it can be cheaper to stay. The location itself isn't too bad, and proximity to the country park, which has food and amusements, makes it a good place to stop over more than just a bed. We ate down at Monty Jack's for our evening meal, so cannot comment on previous reviews about dinner, but breakfast was just as any other Premier Inn... Cooked has to be ordered, rather than self serve, but that is also quite common. No complaints at all.nnOne minor issue, if you're in room 101 or 102, the floor and door just outside these rooms are very squeeky. I was woken several times by late comers and early risers.

I stayed here for work, 3 nights with breakfast and meal deal cost £650. The rooms are dirty, the bedding looked like it hadn’t been changed and there was damp spots on the ceiling. Went into the restaurant for my evening meal and ordered fish and chips which came out dry and very overcooked, they even burnt the sticky toffee pudding some how. Went in for the breakfast and asked for a sausage sandwich got 2 slices of dry bread and 2 little sausages cut in half.nnExplain to me how any of this amounts to £650?!
Awful nights sleep from the radiators squeaking all night long. Bed was hard and lumpy. Breakfast was atrocious - all hot food options were cold, no soya milk option and I found a fly in the sausages
Good location for where I wanted to be, very easy to get to. Very comfortable clean room only draw back staff could be more informative about locality.
