Loved the quiet chill vibe. The fact they were so good with gluten-free was refreshing. The lovely healthy cats are obviously the main draw . Maybe someone to calm down over " friendly children may be a bonus as some parents didn't seem to watch them . But the cats were actually unfazed and could get away if they wanted. Clean and friendly . Would definitely go again
My friend and I went and had a fabulous time! The cats seem very happy and relaxed, and love all the climbing frames and toys. Some were more interested in being petted than others, but that's cats for you! Little Meg tried to steal some of my tuna sandwich but she did sit with us even when she realised she wasn't getting any. Just precious and a lovely afternoon! Would recommend and will go back!
Good place and if you go at a quiet time near opening or closing you usually get a good amount of time with the cats and little disruptions. Would recommend going on weekday evenings to avoid kids bombarding the cats. Seems like they are taken care of- employees could be a little more friendly and price lower but overall good.
The atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff were delightful. However, this establishment would benefit from being child-free. Our experience was disrupted as the children present often startled the cats, likely due to a lack of understanding about boundaries with the animals. Additionally, while the booking was free, there was an unexpected entry fee of £8 per person. Although this charge is reasonable, it should be clearly communicated on the website and upon entry. Furthermore, the food, though of average quality, is quite expensive, which can significantly increase the overall cost of the visit.
Lovely place, you pay a fee to get in for the welfare of the cats and then they're free roaming inside, it was lovely to get to play with them. The cafe has a good range of food and cages provided on the tables to put your plates under to stop those pesky cats taking a bite! Lovely atmosphere and you can tell the cats are very well cared for. Highly recommend!
Only stars that I am giving are for the cats. We were given a table for just an hour after paying £8 welfare. Not even enough time for finishing our food and we were being reminded of how much time we had left over and over again. I asked if I could order a drink and the server first said yes, after which they never came back to ask. When time was up, we asked if we could just roam around and interact with the kitties for a bit and we were told that that was fine as they only needed the table even though there were plenty of empty tables. However, soon after, we were told that we only had five minutes left and that we had to leave. It honestly felt like being kicked out and we did not get the positive and chill experience that one would expect from a cat cafe.
Great Cafe to hang out along with the Cats. You can play with Cats, observe their behaviours, take photos etc. As it's a Cafe you get good food. You can easily spend 1-3 hrs in this Cafe.
We visited here today and we're not very impressed. The only alternative milk is soy, in this day and age there should be more alternative milk choice. So we ended up ordering water, cheese sticks and fries. The fries were terrible which are a simple thing to cook, as per picture they were either burnt or underdone. The toilets were filthy, there was urine on the floor and it stunk. As for the cats, as lots of others have mentioned, most of the cats behaviour are that they are scared. There are so many children chasing them and bothering them and boxing them in. They kept running under chairs to hide and therefore did not want to come up to many people to be friendly. There are rules that there is no running and chasing etc however this is not enforced by the establishment. Ofcourse this is up to the parents to police their children, but the establishment needs to do more to enforce the rules as the cats are bothered and scared. The door to the toilets is a hazard for cats as their tails could get caught, a simple cat door would fix this.
I had such a lovely experience for my birthday ! There was a banner when I got there and they gave me a little gift bag which I thought was so nice. I also want to shout out to the lovely girl who was working on her birthday as well, she was very welcoming and I had a great time!
Went for afternoon tea had to pay £7 per person to enter. Service was slow to place order and await order to arrive, but staff very friendly. You are given a box that goes over your food when it arrives to protect it from the cats as from our experience a couple of the kittens kept diving onto customers tables including our own to grab food. Cats were very friendly and well looked after, the cafe is a huge environment and lots of enrichment for the cats to enjoy. We ordered the after tea for two for £25 came with any two hot drinks and a selection of sandwiches scones and deserts. Food was very nice and couldn't complain for the price
