Connected to Kingston library, it is a small but a charming little museum with some interesting historical artifacts on Sunday. There is a small art gallery on the first floor. The volunteer at the desk was welcoming and happy to have a chat. We worth a visit if you are in Kingston and some time to spare.
Very good to use spare hour, library has good selection and art is OK. mainly a nice feel to the place
Splendid little museum full of information and the photographic exhibition on when we visited was first rate. Excellent visit. You have to look for the building but please go and find it.
Quaint very little museum linked to the local library. Worth a visit if you are a local
Bang in the centre of Kingston, the jewel in the crown is their permanent Edweard Muybridge exhibition. Upstairs is a good gallery space which is currently given over to theatre portraits and London street life. Well worth a look. Sweet giftshop promoting local art and artists.
Best museum I've visited for years. Proper displays and no silly 'recreations'
Interesting historical museum. Library on site. Good exhibitions by local groups.
Very small but a must go to if you live or love Kingston
Full of artifacts. Well maintained. A bit too small. Close to the Kingston town centre and Train station.
