The administration, booking of appointments and management this hospital is diabolical. I am reaching out to the management team to please please do something to improve your business. First of all, it beggars' belief that when I ended both my consultations, the said consultant gave me a date to come back and see him however when I went out 15 yards to the main desk to book the appointment, I was told there were no available slots that day? Can the consultant and outpatients not use a shared diary system etc? Secondly, when I attempted to phone the hospital to change an appointment, I was passed from pillar to post to a team that is obviously outsourced to deal with appointments. I held for ages and then once I spoke to someone, I was advised that they would need to check and call me back. I didn't receive a call back for hours and when I called back myself at the end of the day, I spoke to an adviser who stated, 'Ah well' sure it doesn't matter, I'll sort it out now. No apology etc. Finally, I have been trying to settle my account and chose the payment option line, I have attempted to get through 3 times this morning only to revive a voice message stating that there was no one available and to leave a message, however, the mailbox was full!!!! I have found the experience very disappointing and that if one is paying for a first-class service, there should be measures in place to provide that top level of service. Both my wife and me have been attending an alternative hospital for the last 20 years and we have been so satisfied with the professionalism of the clinic. Unfortunately, the surgeon I require for my current issue only works via Kingsbridge. It's a shame.
I had surgery at Kingsbridge just over a week ago I really wish to thank everyone involved who looked after me so well throughout the whole experience. My surgeon Dr. McComiskey who did such a wonderful job, and is such a kind caring person. All the lovely nurses and staff of Ward 1 who looked after me so well after the operation, Claire, Fortunate, Patricia, Donna and others whose names escape me now but they were all wonderful and I cannot praise them highly enough. The facilities were great as was the food, very nourishing and plentiful. I cannot recommend this hospital highly enough.
Made several attempts to get the necessary documentation off this hospital for cross boarder reimbursement. Was told on the day of surgery they would be sent out via post. Still waiting, weeks later … Private parking is £3 an hour with a so called shuttle bus service … I’d be still waiting on that bus. Some nice staff, but in general a very poor service, particularly from an admin perspective.
Thank you for all your care and attention yesterday before and after surgery! A special mention to Crystal my day nurse and Megan my night nurse. The anesthetist I had was fabulous and made me feel so at ease! I can't remember your name. Also to Dr Neely for carrying out the surgery.
Had total knee replacement surgery. And from the moment I arrived I have dealt with in a professional, courteous way, by everyone I had the pleasure in meeting from reception to the wonderful surgeon. Who all put the coming days in the hospital, and when I go, less daunting for me. And I can only thank you all. And to think I was sent here by the HSE. Thank you too.
In .seen quickly.forms to fill in. Got them done. Nurse came out collected forms. Took patient in . Lay down scan done. Total about five mins..results sent to gp.
How difficult is it to get a Gynaecologist appointment !! I’ve had four appointments cancelled or changed and haven’t seen the same consultant twice. I received a call yesterday cancelling my next December appointment saying they have no replacement doctors or consultants available for this service at present but I’ll be put on a waiting list. It’s really poor - so please don’t reply with the same generic response asking me to email my concerns to info …. I’ll be seeking an alternative option completely
I’m actually shocked at the treatment my husband has received.I will never recommend this private hospital again. 5 mins with a doctor,didn’t look at the report of ultra scan that we provided,looked at what he had too then handed tablets,that’s it. You think you pay well earned money to get answers,no you get 5 mins with the cost of £209.. This will not be left until we receive our money back!! Absolutely a disgrace. Receptionist was lovely and helpful,shame that after care wasn’t the same
Very professional, efficient and friendly. The consultant we met very quickly identified the ailment, made supports and exercises. One quick visit and recovery started. We were delighted with each aspect of the service we received.
Had a hip replacement done on Wednesday 4th Jan 23, the whole experience was first class from pre operation to admission, the hip procedure and the post opt care . Staff so good friendly and nothing was a problem admitted at 12.45 and home at 2.30 the following day. Great service
