Normally I avoid this shop as whenever I enter the staff are either rude or completely ignorant. There was an issue where I walked into the store with my family and had an altercation with a young lady who was contacted by a man on the headset as I picked up an energy drink. Fully denied me service as to buying the product as I looked underage. Came in the next day to prove I’m in-fact not underage with my ID to which they again acted rude towards me and refused to make a conversation. Not all of the staff members are impolite however - this altercation just put me off of shopping here.
I normally have a very good experience with coop on the High Road but unfortunately the older lady serving today was actually quite rude. Saw me queuing up waiting to pay and continued chatting to her friend after they had paid and didn't acknowledge me at all until her conversation was finished. No manners at all. This was between 11:30 and 11:45. Shame
Decent shop with a good range, including some non food items such as newspapers, magazines etc. Should have everything you need, and there are usually some decent offers available as well. Staff are very friendly but there can often be a queue in here though never usually takes more than a few minutes queueing.
Went there today and the staff were polite and didn't have to wait long at the till and the staff were polite and helpful
Has all the basics and more. Usually really busy with queues. Helpful staff
