Very decent shopping centre with lots of things to do especially since there’s been a handful of new openings recently too! It’s good as because it’s by the train station as well as being above the bus station is super easy to get to and navigate if it’s your first time so highly recommend taking a peak!

Amazing mall with a myriad of great shops and restaurants.

Visited the Kingfisher Shopping Centre for the first time in around eight years and left feeling genuinely deflated, though I will admit upfront that a large part of that is almost certainly nostalgia talking.nnMy parents used to bring me here regularly, particularly around Christmas, and it used to be a bustling centre full of shops and atmosphere. The bones are still there and it still has the everyday shops you would need for a standard trip, so it is by no means useless. But the spark that used to make it feel like a destination has largely gone.nnThe big anchor stores that gave the centre its identity have largely disappeared. The old Debenhams unit still sits empty with no sign of anything filling it, and WHSmith has rebranded to TG Hughes, though apparently nobody has told whoever did the shopfront as the WHSmith branding is still visible in parts of the window which sums up the visit rather well.nnFor a Friday during half term I expected at least a reasonable level of footfall but the place was noticeably quiet. It felt less like a slow day and more like a centre that has gradually lost its pull.nnI know the decline of town centre retail is a wider issue affecting shopping centres all over the country and the Kingfisher is far from alone in this. And as I said, if you just need a practical shopping trip it will likely have what you need. But it is genuinely a shame to see somewhere that clearly meant so much to so many people feeling so hollow. Hopefully it finds a way to reinvent itself.

really good beware you could get lost easily Tring to get back to car parks! it all looks the same! all said and done! easy to find and park! you pay when coming out! put reg in and it tells you how much to pay,! for parking charge! loads of shops and tea coffee cafe's, I was having a day out to find courts as in jury service , next week! fom kidder takes 30-40 mins to get their!

Accessible for my mobility scooter but some rows were narrower than others. It was fine on a Sunday but I imagine a nightmare during the week.
