We are fortunate to have Just Gems in Winchcombe. Helen has recently rejuvenated my engagement ring with a beautiful Zircon gem stone which took enormous effort and expertise to source the perfect replacement stone for me. I have also had a Sapphire bespoke ring made, which I am delighted with, chosen from Helen's large collection of coloured gem stones. All my rings are polished, sparkling and looking stunning. Absolutely recommend anyone to pop in and give Just Gems a try! Thank you very much, Helen!
Helen is an incredibly knowledgeable gemologist - there is nothing she doesn't know about gemstones. She also came up with a brilliant idea for a commission piece, something I would never have thought of. The shop in Winchcombe has a fabulous selection of quality jewellery pieces for all tastes but without the ridiculous price tags often found in some of the more well known jewellery stores. Would highly recommend
As other clients have said Helen is an extremely knowledgeable gemologist and talented designer. The first time my husband and I went to Just Gems Aberdeen I was sure I would get excellent quality stones, having heard her talk about gems. However, commissioning jewellery for the first time was a little daunting, but Helen so loves her work and is so enthusiastic about finding just the right thing for you that it was a real treat. We went to see Helen again this year, in Winchcombe, and commissioned 3 pieces of jewellery. Helen was more than happy to incorporate stones from a ring I hardly ever wore, even though they were inferior to ones she would supply. That is the wonderful thing about Helen, she won’t sell to you for the sake of a sale, she really wants you to have something unique, personal and of the highest quality. I will be wearing my latest pieces with pride for my daughter’s wedding next week. They will have a hard job to out shine the bride, but I am sure they will be much admired.
Helen has had a jewellery business in Aberdeen for several years, and I have bought several beautiful pieces from her for members of my family. She has a great eye for design and excellent technical knowledge. She frequently visits gem shows across the globe, where she has acquired beautiful, natural untreated gemstones and semiprecious stones. She employs excellent craftsmen to set these gems so the overall high standard of design and craftsmanship is a mark of her craft. Since Helen has moved to Winchcombe she has put together a very handsome shop, and my only regret is that it is now much further to go to visit her.
I took my mum's ring to be cleaned and repaired for purely sentimental reasons. The end product was beautiful and I am so glad that I was able to do this.

You will leave having an amazing understanding of the uniqueness of your new purchase as Helen is so generous in imparting her knowledge of gemmology and geology. Helen offers clarity and honesty, and therefore we have always left feeling delighted and confident with every purchase.
Just Gems is in a league of its own with regards to gemstone and jewellery quality and variety - you won't find another establishment like it. Helen is highly qualified in both geology and gemmology and couldn't be more passionate about her subject. Travelling worldwide to source the best quality gemstones, she has an impressive collection of traditional and unusual jewels and masterfully composes them into unique pieces you'd struggle to find the like of anywhere else. Having personally bought several pieces from Just Gems in the past, all of which are stunning, attract a lot of admiration and give me great pleasure to wear, I know first hand how knowledgeable, passionate and conscientious she is as a jeweller. I would go to no one else for jewellery, as nobody else has the choice of gemstones she offers, or the expertise to go with it. I couldn't recommend Just Gems or Helen Plumb more highly and already hotly anticipate my next visit to Winchcombe so I can pop in and see what new delights are on offer!
