Limited parking, had to park on busy street outside. Conference /meeting room facilities were good. Modernisation could help with issues with technology as no speakers for short video and no remote to progress presentation. Toilets were clean, basic and again would benefit from an update.

Recently had a couple of days at the King Malcolm. I would stay again, the staff were great, the rooms warm and very clean. Also the meals were very good.

Good: Friendly staff. Warm rooms. Plenty of free parking. Evening meals are reasonable and good value. Beds comfortable. Bad: Where do we start? They will charge you £15 per day for a child's bed in your room. Room only is the norm. You will be charged for breakfast. Check your booking. Rooms are tiny. Rooms are very tired and shabby. It took us two days to get two broken lights fixed. Toilet takes six goes to flush. Bathroom floor really dirty with hair and old urine down the front of the toilet. Watch the milk in the room. Two of the four were out of date so they are not checked routinely. Door locks very worn and hard to open with a key and the door is not square in the frame so you can see in from the outside at the bottom. We covered this up with a coat! Did I mention shabby?

My favourite hotel..staff cannot be better friendly, very helpful and make me very comfortable ..i work away from home and have my choice of hotels.. this is the one for me...the newly refurbished rooms are perfect two phone charging socket each side of the bed..(i need to carry an extension with me for most places). The bed an beding I want to take home. Never slept better. Ivan..contract engineer.

Stayed there last night for a family reunion. Cannot fault the hotel at all from very friendly and helpful staff and the food was amazingly good!! 😁 The resident dj was absolutely amazing. We had a raffle and rolling pound coins at the bottle for a charity that has been amazing for our family. Clic Sargent. The dj(didn't get his name) was so helpful and contributed quite a lot to our chosen charity so a big thanks to him as well as all the staff. Would definitely stay there again..
