I've used this store both online and in person visiting their premises. The couple that run the business are very pleasant and helpful. They have a wide selection of fish available such as limia, black chins, etc as well as your normal community fish. Decent business, a good place to buy fish. Just do the right things when you get home, acclimate, quarantine and then move them to your display tanks.
Lovely aquarium fish shop. Good to see an independent buisness surviving! Bought some Japan blue guppies from here several weeks ago. All doing well nice quality.
Great variety of healthy fish and plants, very good quality and at reasonable prives. Staff is really friendly, helpful and well educated. Worth the extra travel instead of buying on ebay. Great experience and very happy
Visited Kesgrave Tropicals today and stocked up my tank with a variety of Cichlids, Older gentlemansorry didn't get his name in the shop today was very helpful, would defiently recommend shopping here, reasonably priced too.
Although they are well stocked, with loads of fish at reasonable prices. The aquariums are lacking maintenance and cleaning. OK algae can be a problem fro everyone, however, regular cleaning with the old razor blade on an stick or such item wouldn’t go amiss here. Even the outside of the aquariums/tanks require a good clean. The lighting above the tanks does little to enhance them, I guess the fluorescent tubes are old and require some work. It felt as though the owners were winding down the business, instead of giving customers a good experience. I know this sounds a little negative, however, Kesgrave Tropicals could be great place to buy fish. Perhaps I just visited on a poor day… more housekeeping is required to make the shed more appealing to customers
Always very helpful staff and they have a good selection of fish/equipment at very reasonable prices. Its always a bit warm in the shop and 'snug'! Highly recommended.
Great store with super knowledgeable staff... One of the UK big online sellers as well so they are able to source rare fish.
Mollies supplied are in the same set up... For now. Algae and waste. Nearly 40years in the hobby. Keep it going
