Rip off merchant - charged £20 for a non-trip!! I recently booked a taxi for a friend from my house to Kemble station with this company, for which they quoted me £15-£18. While this is in itself a rip-off (I only live 5 miles from the station) it's at least comparable with other companies in the area so I accepted the quote. Unfortunately, due to a miscommunication, it turned out that my friend actually needed to go to Swindon, which is about 15 miles from me. Anyway, when the taxi arrived, she told him she wanted to go to Swindon, upon which he said it would be more expensive (fair enough, so far....). However, rather than actually TELLING her how much it would be, he just said "more" and also lied about how long it would take to drive to Swindon - he said 45 minutes, when in fact it's normally about 30. Then, instead of finding out the cost before accepting the fare, he started to drive her (presumably towards Swindon), in the dark, for about 10 minutes, after which he THEN called the depot and announced that the cost would now be £45!!! My friend didn't have £45 in cash as I'd only given her £20 for the taxi, so the driver simply turned around and brought her back to mine, and then demanded the £20 from her for taking her absolutely nowhere! By the time I found out about this, the driver was gone, along with my £20, and I had to drive my friend to Swindon myself. My advice would be NEVER to use this company, ever! Highly dodgy, very unethical and disgusting treatment of passengers. Disgraceful!

Wouldn't put full address in the satnav so ended up kicking out the passenger at 10:30 at night and charging £30 for a journey which was £18 from another company which actually went to the correct place rather than leaving my other half stranded on a random country lane in the dark! Not happy!
