I bought vanilla ice cream from tesco and it ŵas above average quality and 0a good price however getting into the container I had to use tyre levers to open the container so probably not a good idea for the old or infirm.
fifteen years ago as a student I worked here as an icecreamman, the atmosphere at work was cool but most important the taste of ice cream stayed with me to this day, I still think it's the best ice cream I've ever eaten and I know how it was made.
I really love your ice cream and look forward to one after my walk on Par Beach. I got back to the car to collect my money and went over to the van which still had it's windows open and waited only to be told a few minutes later I'm closed!! You normally have a lovely man serving on the beach who is always happy to sell you an ice cream. She obviously wasn't in that much of a hurry because the van is still sitting here a good 10 minutes later.
used to love Kelly's Clotted ice cream, bought some this morning from Waitrose and what a disappointment, totally artificial taste , and what was left in the car after 2 hours never melted ! - it was still firm but not cold! I suppose its all the gum it contains and only has 10% cream - will not buy again - Lidl has a clotted cream 2lt tub for half the price and 20 times the quality
Well I dont know what the fuss is about from those who are complaining, but I find Kelly's Ice-cream very tasty. Ive just tried their clotted cream variety and its delicious, not too sweet and definitely has a taste of clotted cream. Cant wait to try other flavours as I see them in our local supermarkets Kings Lynn , Norfolk .
Not just a change in packaging, but a change in taste. I used to love Kelly's ice cream. Now it tastes like shaving foam. Please go back to the old packaging and old taste. If you do, I'll start buying it again.
Visited Kelly's last night, as we are here for the week in LOOE. And trying out different places to eat whilst here. After queuing outside for 10mins thinking this must be good, well how every much mistaken I was. There was a sign up saying you would not be served unless you had a mask on, but 3 out of the 5 people behind the counter didn't have masks, one of which was the person serving. My order was 2 cheeseburgers with chips and fish and chips. When getting back to have dinner, what a disappointment. The burgers where a plain as could be with no salad or relishes. Chips very soggy, and fish batter soft. How this palace has gained 4.2 star rating I will never know. I'm no chef but I've cooked much better at home.
Kelly's of Cornwall is the best ice cream I have ever eaten. I live in Bodmin and only ever by this brand it's a must to try for every person, I love it very much and all the various flavours too such great
Taste and texture really gone down hill since they became a Froneri brand. Stuff in the vans and Parlours might be OK as they are separate, but the supermarket stuff is now awful, similar to overly synthetic ice-cream like Vienetta for texture.
I hate the new packaging. The old black box was perfect for making lovely wafers,just the right size now they are too big. I am now looking for another make that fits the wafers. It is a pity as all of my friends loved the old fashioned wafers.
