Great place to take the kids, they can play in 2 of the swing parks or watch the ducks and geese
Pleasant visit was pretty tidy, the sun was shining as well. Had my sandwiches and drink by the pond which was nice. The best thing was that the only Swan came out the pond and started cleaning its feathers and had a nap which was extremely rare to see. Overall made me relaxed and calm.
Lovely park for a walk and to feed the swans, ducks and coots
Kids always ask to go to Kay Park , we get food to feed the ducks , there's 2 play areas each with a little bench , there's a basketball hoop, fitness equipment , plenty of swings and slides and a skateboard/ scooter/ bike track ,also a zip line, it's also dog friendly , the kids always have a great time here
Nice park. Great place to go for walk. Lots to see.
Very clean park with plenty of space to roam without getting lost. I managed to let fozzy off the leash for a bit which shows there is plenty of space. There was a nice park for kids to play on but never got an I depth look. Plenty of parking available.
It's a nice park, well maintained with lots of paved pathways. The Burns monument is also inside the park, and there's also several other monuments and sculptures to see.
Large open green spaces, pond with a selection of wildfowl and kids playpark. And all free so what's not to like Also contains the Burns Monument Centre bthat houses local historical archives, registry office and function area suitable for weddings and conferences
The park was gifted to the town by local insurance broker Alexander Kay in 1866. It is a great for families, local bird watching of swans, ducks, coots and moorhen all year round and other seasonal birdlife and of course the damn seagulls, there's a big playpark, an outdoor gym, basketball area, lots of benches to just sit down and relax and watch the kids play. The Burns research centre is here if you want to research your family history. It is also a registrar office, you can get married here. It's quite a hilly and is used for exercise by local runners and walkers. Dog-friendliness: Very popular with dog walkers Picnic area: There's seats for Mums and Dad's while the kids play
Nice park to visit, playpark is good for kids.
