This was recommended by a friend and it was one of the best indian food experiences I’ve had. The service was excellent and very good value for money! The staff helped us with some recommendations for starters, the lamb roganjosh was excellent as well as the lamb biryani mains and the naan bread! Will be back soon…
First visit and really memorable. Love the lamb shank Korma, soft shell crab and the biryani. The place and staff were all so good. Well worth the drive from slough.
Fantastic service, very friendly and swift. Food was excellent. Restaurant was clean and smelled amazing! Rich and aromatic flavours. They use mild spices. Good selection of starter options and mains. Portion size could be bigger. Overall restaurant has a good ambiance and classy feel to it.
A really nice and cozy place with great ambience and the food was also good. The only complaint i have is reagarding the rogan josh it could have been more authentic, it tasted more indianized version of it rather than authentic kashmiri rest everything was perfect especially the daniwal korma.
I cannot get enough of the food at this place, it is so authentic and filled with so much flavour, it reminds me of home! The service is amazing, and the place is very subtly designed, which makes the experience all the more homely and comfortable! A must try is the traditional kulfi!!
This was one of the best meals we’ve had anywhere in London. My wife didn’t think she’d like Indian food, and she was pleasantly surprised. Service is great, and prices are reasonable. We’ll be back.
I recently visited this amazing family runned restaurant called "Kashmir" in putney. It has got beautiful ambience also irresistible flavours of Indian cuisine which will definitely make us crave to comeback every day. Their drinks range is pretty good with combination of crispy popodams and chutneys made it excellent. The staff were approachable and responsible. Best restaurant for a perfect dinner!
Absolutely fabulous Indian restaurant, a cut above most other indian restaurants in SW London. The interior refurb has been excellent too, so dining is very comfortable with good lighting and ambience as the locals know this is a great spot. The food is superb, you have to try the lamb chops and the peshwari naan that tastes of high quality coconut. The sauces are rich, delicious and ultimately perfect. A very pleasant courteous chap even comes to your table with a brass jug of water and basin to wash your hands in before the meal, and there’s cold Kingfisher beer on draught! What more can I say. Outstanding food and service!
We really enjoyed the food at Kashmir Restaurant. It was our first time eating proper Kashmiri food. It was so good, with subtle flavours and unique dishes. Highly recommend if you want to try some different indian food.
