DO NOT get your dress here. Our bridemaid dresses were advertised at 250£ and because we were buying 5 dresses, we got a discount of 100£ on each which was a nice gesture. We ended up paying 5 dresses 750£. The dresses were delayed by almost a Months. The shop lied to us and advised that they were being made in India. I recently found out that the dress they are selling are purchased from a reseller based in Paris. I did my investigation and was surprised to discover that 1 dress cost 38£. YES 38£ is the price they are getting the dresses for. And we paid 150£ each dress!!!!!!!!! It's totally unacceptable. I would understand that business is business, but we paid triple the amount. Discussing!!!!!
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I bought a dress from there, when the “manager”, Sharon, assured me that everything would be made in time for my event. Upon collection, the dress did not fit, it was damaged and the back was lopsided. Sharon tried to have an argument with me over the phone, where she shouted over me whilst I was talking to her reasonably, and she refused to give me a refund. Luckily I paid by credit card and I spoke to my bank who cancelled the transaction and I was able to get my money back. Sharon challenged me to take my complaint to my bank because her shop has a “no refund policy” and she didn’t care about my complaint she was so sure that I would fail at getting the money back from my bank. IF YOU TAKE THE RISK TO BUY FROM KARMA, PAY BY CREDIT CARD ONLY!!! This is the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. I ended up spending almost double to get a new outfit in time for the family wedding, plus the stress of dealing with Sharon was terrible. At least I got my money back in the end even if it was only thanks to my bank.
Most of the 1 star reviews here are pretty accurate for this company. Not even worth 1 star to be honest. Although the dresses look great, the quality of the dresses are Very Very POOR. Brought a dress and took it to the seamstress straight away to be taken in and whilst he was doing the measurements about half the beads and diamonds fell off the dress. Within 15 mins I went back for a refund and was told they didn’t do refunds. This business is a joke. Absolutely appalling customer service as soon as money has been taken. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! The dresses are only worth it if you paid £10 for them, they will fall apart when you wear them.
Customer service was awful. Sales woman was more interested in her coffee order and her breakfast than serving her customer. Her employee was more help then she was. She did not bother to go out of her way for us, nor did she show any interest. Instead she wanted to make a quick sale of what she had in her store instead of catering to her audience. Would definitely not recommend the store. Nice gowns but not worth the service at all.
The selection of dresses was great, along with the service I received. I have been back a number of times to get my ball gown dresses for Asian Wedding Parties and my Christmas work do. I can't wait to head back for my next purchase. Thank you to all the customer service girls who were able to help me make the right decision for the perfect dress.
The dresses are pretty, true, but that's all there is to the shop. If you happen to be of the correct size for the dress then, and ONLY THEN, should you buy it because alterations are either not going to happen or something will go wrong with the order. I had to get mine altered in a few places and the prices were quite clear to me. Bravo for one good thing. But one of the alterations were not possible but upon purchase I was reassured that it's not a problem. So naturally I wanted to return the dress but they have a no-refund policy which I didn't know about. After pointless argument with the sales lady that lead nowhere because she was too busy shouting, I tried to pick another dress whilst the one of them were being very rude, pressuring me to make a further purchase of £90 which I didn't comply with but did pay a little more for another dress I got halfheartedly since my money wouldn't be returned anyway. Oh did I mention I as blamed for a huge tear in the dress that wasn't there when I tried it on? Tldr: sales woman made a mistake and that alteration couldn't be made didn't inform me about non-refund policy, very sly very VERY rude if you try to return anything Only buy if it fits when you try it on, don't try for alterations 1 star just for the pretty dress
The worst experience ever ! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE ! My mother bought a dress from karma and we drove 3 hours to the place 4 times because the dress twice was sold to us damaged and apparently the dress is non refundable even if sold damaged. Their employees are very rude and non-sympathetic with their customers when they are unsatisfied. The owner of the store was even worse, she couldn't deal with the situation, she was extremely degrading and condesending of me as a customer. My money has been stolen and they refuse to refund it FOR A DAMAGED DRESS!
Worst service!! Bought the dress and paid £15 for tailoring, manager said to pick it up next weekend... so went there and sales woman started making all sorts of excuses that tailor still got the dress and she is not answering the call but soon we found out that dress was still in the store and was not sent to tailor at all... what a waste of the day ! Drove all the way from Uxbridge to east London . Worst attitude! Beware! they will be all nice and friendly at first but once you have paid the money be prepared for the bad experience. And do not pay with cash even they insist. Ask for a proper receipt and not just a simple scrappy on the paper...
This is most misleading shop i have ever come across. They lead us to buy dresses from this shop telling us adjustments can be made by their tailor. We brought a couple of dresses under the assumption the prices paid for the dresses covered the tailoring price as NOTHING was mentioned for 2 of the 3 dresses brought. For 1 of the dresses, the owner of the shop even said the price paid coverd the tailoring price. After waiting 2 extra weeks from the tailor Irum at the back of East Mall we went to pick up our suits and we got shouted at as she started asking us for her money?! After going back to this store, we got told by the owner that she told us the tailoring price was seperate!! The tailoring service was at a rip off price. Karma did NOT make it clear to us it would cost us extra! Do not be fooled by their tricks!!
I disagree with all these reviews this is the best shop EVER I have made a purchase before and a on Saturday I made another purchase I love this shop it is unique and different the dresses are worth every penny I love this shop the tailoring does an amazing job the manager is lovely and polite. I 100% recommend it. If u need assistance just ask they are more then happy to help.
