The prawn on puree was vile, just shrimp in korma sauce on a soggy piece of fatty bread. The mushroom bahjis were soggy and just wrapped in tinfoil, the chicken tikka was dry and the mixed kabab was overcooked, thrown together and really salty and awful. Called the takeaway before I put anything online and they just said "everybody likes it like that so post your complaint!". I really would stay away!.
Absolutely vile food, avoid this place if you want to stay alive. I wouldn’t even feed this rubbish to my dog! Chicken madras, prawn puri looks like cats sick and some sort of leather disguised as a chicken tikka kebab ‍
The WORST service & curry I have EVER experienced! 2 curry’s was like water! Yoghurt sauce tasted like menthol! Chapatis were NOT cooked! The dough was still very present and sticky. Couldn’t even eat it. Took it back to the shop as it was not even edible. The service received in the shop by the two staff members was absolutely diabolical! One staff member said they would refund just the curry and the other said they would refund just the chapatis. So neither of them were on the same page and didn’t even know what to do. I spoke to the manager on the phone who said we can get refunded for what hasn’t been eaten. But they refused. I was also Refused to speak to the manager a second time. The worker stated “the manager doesn’t want to speak to you”. Under the young workers was absolutely filthy! You’d think he’s been working in the car garage through the day and goes to work in a takeaway during the night. Disgusting. Spent £35 on NOTHING! Cocky, unhelpful workers
Genuinely one of the worst kebabs I have ever eaten. Tiny pieces of the dryest chicken I have ever come across. Cheap tiny pitta and some lettuce thrown over the top. Such a shame as I have had some really nice food from here in the past, no idea what has happened to this place!Food: 1/5
I am not one to complain but I feel as if I have wasted my money here! Food was terrible. I asked for sauce and salad separately and no salad in wrap however they put the salad on everything. There was more salad than meat in both the kebab and wrap no one in our family could eat the food as it just tasted horrible!Food: 1/5
Placed an order tonight for a "supreme" burger that was advertised as having cheese and fried onions on. However the order arrived and I received what seemed to be a "special" burger that contained onion rings and pineapple. Easy mistake to make I suppose but I am allergic to pineapple. I rang the restaurant back and explained what had happened they refused to believe me and demanded screenshot to prove what I had ordered and gave me a phone number to send a screenshot too. During the time that took me to open the uber app... They had clearly been on and changed the description of the burger. Both supreme and special burger were being advertised as having pineapple and onion rings on... However I still had the original listing in my orders that I sent to them. Bit of a hassle to get the right burger sent out and in the end I just claimed my money back through uber. Some desperate measures were taken by the restaurant by editing there menu to try and save on sending the right item out. Shame... Due to the hoops I had to jump through with unhelpful and rude staff, I shall not be ordering again. Nor would I be recommending this restaurant to friends and family.
I called in last night 21/1/23 to order a takeout mixed naan kebab. After 10 minutes I said to my wife “you go home and I’ll follow when I get my order”. Customers kept coming in, ordering from the menu, getting served then leaving. Every time I asked about my order I got the same answe “it’s coming soon”. 45 minutes later I was given a hefty package which was quickly taken back, it was for another customer. I was finally given my order 50 minutes after I first ordered it. Terrible service from staff who were obviously out of their depth when it comes to customer service. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, I even worked on the signage when the very first Kamrans opened. A few refurbishments later and various new owners and sad to say it’s now not fit for purpose anymore.
Although the Italian burger was ok when it eventually arrived was not brought with the order, the delivery driver had to go back to collect it the rest of the order was a bitter disappointment, this included a naan bread the like of which I have never seen, it was small and looked like a chappati with a few puffed up bubbles in it. Have had much better and cheaper from the corner shop. The madras portion size was a joke!! It had no spice heat, very mild and tasteless, bhaji’s greasy no dipping sauce included. So overall a total waste of money, used to really enjoy a takeout from Kamrans but will definitely not be ordering from them again.
Got a couple of meals they were OK also ordered 2 lots of apple crumble one was warm and the other never even saw the inside of a microwave and turned up flat cold. Had to ring up to get pop that was missing from order and to explain 1 of the apple crumble was cold but they didn't want to know but delivered pop. Told me they were busy and its obvious there not checking orders before they go out. Usually I don't like complaining but it fell on death ears when I told them.
Won’t ever order from here again. We ordered through Uber eats and it took an hour and 30 minutes to arrive. When it did arrive, everything was cold. The “jaw breaker burger” is quite small, not as the name would suggest. The donner kebab on naan was clap cold, the meat was hard like it had been sat for a long time, and the salad consisted of a slice of onion and a couple of shreds of wilted lettuce. The chilli sauce more a blob of paste too. The food used to be really nice but now I wouldn’t recommend to anyone
