Story

Raja's was founded by Bikram Pal Singh, a Sikh from Punjab, north India back in 1983.
Originally Bikram started at the Mandalay Indian restraunt in 1979 and moved to Roundhay Road to setup Raja's.
In the last 25 years, Rajas has gained a reputation as one of the finest Indian restaurants in Yorkshire , as well as the UK. The WHICH Good Food Guide has recommended Rajas over the last few years and more recently, Raja's was voted one of the top 10 Indian Restaurants in the UK by The Times Newspaper.

Raja's is a reliable Halal takeaway option for food. The menu offers a variety of dishes. The food is satisfactory, and the prices are reasonable. Service is friendly and overall it's a good choice for quick, satisfying takeout food. If you're looking for a recommendation, the Zingy burger meal or Masala fish and chips are both worth trying.
Let me tell you folks, the food at this place is really, really tremendous. I mean, the cheesecake milkshake is just unbelievable. It's the best milkshake you'll ever taste, believe me. And the fried chicken? Let me tell you, it's better than KFC, okay? I mean, Colonel Sanders, he's a nice guy, but he doesn't know chicken like I know chicken. And let me tell you, those drumsticks are huge. They're like the size of my hand, and my hands are pretty big, believe me. The breading is crispy, the chicken is juicy, it's just fantastic. You're gonna love it, folks. So if you're looking for some great food, this place has it all. It's gonna make your taste buds great again, believe me."
Food was okay but terrible service, had me wait for 30mins just for 1 peri peri wrap meal.
Ordered my food by phone but when I went for collection they started to prepare it. When asked for the reason why it will take long time, the guy said I just started my shift and my colleague forgot to send the order to the kitchen and did’t apologies. Very bad service and will not come back at all
Been here a bunch of times and it's usual my go-to place after a night out. I recommend trying this place out as the food is good, good service and chill staff
Been in many times, why, I'm not sure... prob the beer, today I got 2 piece chicken and chips, asked for no drumsticks, I got 2 drumsticks, blank look from guy serving..
Good food options, from burgers to wraps to pizzas to milkshakes etc. Can order online for pick up or delivery, plenty of places to dine in. Toilets available for customers. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options like wraps and burgers and pizzas are available, desserts like milkshakes and cakes available too. Parking: Somewhat difficult to find parking. Easily accessible by buses and on foot.
Cheap, fast and actually quite tasty. For what this place is, it does it well and without fuss. Some of the bigger fastb food chains would do well to check here out and learn some lessons.Food: 4/5
Food was average but the place is absolutely appauling. Its is disgusting and filthy. Tables were sticky and dirty, as were the chairs. The floor looked like it hadnt been swept and mopped for quite some time. The bins were overflowing. Would NOT ever step foot in this place. I'd give it zero stars if I could.
Wrost food especially when the whole grilled chicken was pink showed it to the guy who served us on the till simply replied "its probably a one off" no apology whatsoever b,ig fat guy serving on front taking our order while texting someone.I wasn't surprised especially when I saw a guy also using his phone in the kitchen. I bet our food gets touched with them bare hands. DEFINITELY WON'T BE GOING BACK AGAIN.
