Visited the restaurant for an evening meal after reading the reviews and 5 * hygiene rating. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. Positive: nice and clean, friendly staff. Clean toilets. Food: after ordering Waited only a couple of minutes and papadums came with pickle and chutnies. Nice. Waitress asked how do we want our starters and main meal. Asked starters first and main meal afterwards. Food came together with starters. Meat wasn't tender. And was unable to break meat with naan as they taken all the knives and forks with the papadums tray. Asked for knife and fork. Then the gentleman asked is everything ok. I said no the meat is not that tender so he said don't eat this he will bring another dish. While we were waiting for the meat dish, naans were cold by the new meat dish arrived. In starters potato slices were not cooked fully. Negative: when asked about the meat wasn't tender in the karahi, we were given the most silly excuse as they grilled the meat in the oven then cooked in the karahi so that's why. As we were novice and silly, he thought we would believe what he said. Starters and main meal came together so which one you eat first, either way other dish will go cold. In the bill they included price for pickle tray and service charges which wasn't mentioned in the Manu. Do I go back there NO Advice: don't treat customers like they don't know much about the food and don't give them silly explanations to cover up your mistakes. Just admit it's a mistake and we will put it right. That's much accepted and leaves good impression.
Really tasty, never had a bad meal. You can certainly taste the smokiness from the tandoor oven, not something you always get. If you normally get chicken tikka starters I highly recommend getting the House Special Mixed Boti, you get so much more for couple extra quid. Thanks againFood: 5/5
It's a halal fine dining restaurant with plenty selections of authentic Indian cuisine. If you're a first-timer, just ask the waiter and they will recommend the menu based on your preferences. I asked for the recommended menu and because I like spicy food, they recommended Lamb Handi and it's not on the menu. The taste is really good and spiciness level is spot on though for me it's mild. The lamb meat is very tender, the aroma reminds me of Indonesian beef rendang. A must try menu. Another meal we tried: Chicken Curry, Pilau Rice, and garlic naan.
Overall food was ok and service was ok. Atmosphere and toilets are clean Parking: Street next to it or opposite to it might have few parking spots
Food amazing Lovely clean place. Relaxed atmosphere,. Nice decor Staff very professional and owner? Manager? always very socialable too. Would certainly recommend a visit don't have an alcohol license but can take your own in
Had a takeaway the firs yiut time was good the second time was not so good the karhi and jalfrezy taste the same and could taste nothing but chilli powder there was no onion or green peppers in the jalfrezy and what was there was tiny thin slices not happy that I have to through it in the bin guess it hasnt changed rice was full of curry powder the paratha wasn't nothing like a paratha chiken chat was perfect the curry was fine Vegetarian options: Think they do a veg tahli and most Indian offer a veg option
Very nice atmosphere. Food was excellent. Butter chicken was tender. Service, considering it was a table of around 20, was superb. I'm definitely going back in the near future.Food: 5/5
Very delicious food it is all new and it is a totally different experience you should try it, you can ask the chef to help if you’re tasting Indian food for the first time, resealable price.
I got a Just Eat delivery from here. It arrived within the time slot, well packaged and still hot. I ordered the Lahori Fish Masala startef which was up there with the best ive tasted i also picked the Dall Samber which was a side dish, this was right up my street very tasty amd packed full of flavour, definitely would order it again! My main was Malayan Chicken Curry which had loads of chicken in it with some banana and pineapple, i did really like this dish however i could only eat some of it as it was too sweet for my pallet. Dont let that put you off tho if you like really sweet mains it did actually taste good as was the pilau that accompanied it
lovely meal! The food was unbelievable! Especially the garlic naan!! The manager recommended a special curry and adapted it to my tastes. Couldn’t recommend enough! Will be back! Food: 5/5
