Absolute joke of a business. Ordered at 10 past 9. And they never turned up! Decided to ring an hour after I ordered and the line was constantly busy all the way up until their closing time. Usually not a problem with them, ordered before and it’s been fine but this was just a joke. Over 2 hours wait for a couple of waffles and drink and they never even showed up, and couldn’t bother to receive any more calls either. Disgusting customer service.
Ordered food little bit over an hour ago, still waiting for it. It was only 2 waffles and 1 milkshake. Been trying to call them to find out what was going on as they close in 10 minutes and their phone is constantly engaged. Can't even contact for a refund. Will not be ordering from there again!
For a start they don't even deserve 1 star!!!! Such rude staff on the phone.. not only is he so rude, he is one of the most unprofessional men I have ever came across. Waiting for our ordered for over an hour!! We ordered what three easy things! Ice cream and drinks isn't much!! When I Rang him up he's trying to talk over me, does he not realise we as customers are the reason as to why they are still in buissness. The Man said that our order is on the way when I rang but, sorry waiting longer than a hour for some ice-cream is stupid! Of course I require a good will gesture, but once I did he simply said ok and put the phone down! How rude! He said he driver will be with us in a sec so he will give you the refund but he never showed up! Having to then contact just eat to discuss what our options was then, to see that they have cancelled the order as well.... the man on the phone lend me to believe we would still be getting our food and drinks with a refund as well. I'm so in shock!! I will NEVER be ordering from there again! And will NEVER recommend to anyone, whilst that man still works there.
Wish I'd read the reviews before ordering, waited well over an hour! Tried calling multiple times, no answer. They shut in five minutes. Basically the same experience as every other persons review. Edit changed to two stars mainly because the order did eventually arrive, after about an hour and a half and there was honestly nothing wrong with it. The delivery man was very apologetic and lovely, so props to him.
TERRIBLE! Food was stone cold and they forgot all our drinks, which I told the young lad who delivered it. He said they had been forgotten. I asked if they could be delivered then, as he was half way down the path. He called back 'yeah' and continued to walk. The food was still in my hands cold. So my husband called the shop to see if a hot dessert could be sent out. He was answered with abuse and was called a Liar. The man said do not touch the food they will have it back. Had no intention of eating it so asked for a new one. He called my husband an Idiot and then a Moron. Utter shock! We couldn't beleive it. My husband then said that we want a refund as we no longer wish to have anything from them. The verbal abuse continued. So my husband offered to bring the food back and get a refund. The man in the shop then accused my husband of threatening him. All this for a dessert and a few drinks! We were then told he would be sending the driver out with a refund and that we will never be served again. The cheek of it! We are still waiting here with a cold dessert and no drinks, shocked by what has just happened. DO NOT use this company. Disgusting Food, Terrible service and even worse Language. They have taken our money and run! How can anyone get away with this? I read the reviews but though better of it. NEVER AGAIN! I hope they get shut down! Trading standards will be informed as this is theft!
Never experienced any of the issues started by other reviews. I do live within a mile of the shop so I'm not sure it that helps with our service. Food has always been good and still warm/melted. No signs of being eaten by delivery drivers...
My daughter just ordered 3 desserts and realised she made an error but not asking for it to be delivered, when she rang, nobody would answer the phone so we had to go and pick up. I personally won't be having anuthing again. What it exciting about a waffle and a caramac just broke on the top..... Boring and over priced. The other two desserts looked like they had been thrown together. Will be finding somewhere else more appealing for £20.
Worse service ever. Ordered 3 milkshakes to be delivered, over an hours wait and they still didn’t arrive. When I called I was told they had only just looked at the order. The manager was extremely rude, called me darling when I said please don’t call me that he then replied ok ‘babe’ said he would just refund the money. No apology or anything. Disgusting service. Not somewhere I will be using again!
Terrible, don’t waste your money. Website states orders arrive within 60 minutes, ours took 1 and a half hours and that’s only because I called and complained otherwise we’d still be waiting. Ice cream and cream was melted and pancakes were cold. The staff were rude when I called and have a terrible attitude. AVOID. I also posted on their Facebook page but they delete all negative reviews!
Huge choice, the waffles are massive and I couldn't finish it. Friendly staff, I will definitely come back. As for the hygiene comments. I'm Sat here now watching the guy make my dessert. He has gloves on and is doing things properly. 5 star hygiene rating, I see no problems. Maybe stop the witch hunt BS now....
