It started well with a large pot of decent tea and the choice of white or brown bread but dropped a mark for presentation when the food came. The nice boerwors baguette had a tired salad garnish but no cutlery to eat it with and the toasted sandwich was just slapped on an otherwise bare plate like I would do in a hurry at home. This is in one of the oldest timber framed buildings in Ashford so worth a visit. Be warned that the toilet is up a steep staircase with low door frames and across a floor that hasn't been level in centuries, if ever. Has a 5 star hygiene rating.

Really nice cosy place. Takeaway or eat in food available. I had a jacket potato which was cooked perfectly. Maybe a bit too.much goats cheese on mine but it was beyond fair for the price!
