Its OK and from what i can see of the other hotels its one of the best! Its a travelling sales / worker hotel, bit grubby throughout. Nice gym and pool which a few of the locals use. The location of the hotel is concenient if you want to walk into the centre but it also attracts a lot of druggies or pissheads to hang around next to the hotel.
The location has seen better days but the Hotel is totally different. Our suite was value for money though needed to be checked more regularly as it had wine stains on the floor. The management did offer to move us. I couldn't fault their customer service .
We lived 2 nights there ...it was fantastic...they have swimming pool, spa, sauna also steam room ....This hotel is near town centre so you will get so many eating options around...Also they have their own parking so not to worry if it is not fully booked...If they have full parking they will let you know before hand....Service is good as well ..I have spent really nice time there....I recommend this hotel....Also they have their own bar and restaurant...Food was good as welll...
Friday February 2nd, check-in was friendly enough, all information regarding the location of my room, bar and restaurant politely explained.nThe room was a little tired looking, the table lamp did not work and the free standing lamp had a broken bulb in it.nThe bathroom was a little tight, the vent was dirty as was the toilet, having taken a shower my fingers became stuck in the towel, looking properly the towel had 3 holes in it, not good whi h goes to prove that whoever tidied the room didn't check the towels correctly, shower rail needs replacing.nBreakfast was adequate, good range of cold options, easy to use coffee machines, the hot options were OK, service was good and provided with a smile.nThis was my first stay and so not the best first impression, they have work to do to improve.
Fairly standard hotel, friendly staff, standard rooms, decent bar, small swimming pool and an ok gym, good location for the town and walking to the station, absolutely fine for an overnight stay,
