Utterly disappointing and deeply frustrating experience.nnI began arranging my repeat prescription with the practice in early September, clearly explaining that I would be travelling abroad for six months and needed a six-month supply of my regular medication. After weeks of back-and-forth, I was eventually assured — by both the practice manager and the clinical team — that this would be authorised in full.nnTo make sure nothing went wrong, I even visited the surgery in person to confirm that everything was in order. Despite those assurances, when I arrived at the pharmacy to collect my prescription just before departure, one-third of the medication my HRT was missing.nnThis is not a complex prescription — there are only three items on it — yet the practice still managed to make a serious, last-minute error. The failure created unnecessary stress, forced me to spend hours chasing emergency solutions through NHS 111, and very nearly jeopardised travel plans that had been months in the making.nnAfter being told repeatedly that the issue was sorted, this level of administrative incompetence is unacceptable. It demonstrates a lack of care, poor internal communication, and no appreciation for how their mistakes directly impact patients’ lives.nnI would urge anyone relying on this surgery for continuity of medication to double-check everything in writing and not take verbal assurances at face value. Patients deserve better than this.
The surgery fails to recognise the need to stop sending details which were fabricated by TEWVS staff. Complaint concerned TEWVS fabrications and the suggestion to end my distress was to text me the telephone numbers for Crisis Team and Talking Changes. How many times do you expect me to be abused by TEWVS and how the hell do you expect me to have any trust in any Dr or Nurse?
Care not to standard , .mistakes with prescriptions regular ,items missing or prescriptions not done after ordered on prescriptions line.nPatients data protection broken when it suits them.nNot recommended as a doctors practice.nProblem is trying to get to see a doctor is asking the world,a phone call you wait minimum 3 yo 4 weeks for phone call from a GP.nNOT GOOD ENOUGH!nYou think it can't get any worse but it does.nNEW PATIENTS AVOID THIS SURGERY!
I have hardly needed to go to the Doctors in the last 30 years. But in the last couple of weeks I have needed them twice and the care and understanding I have received from Kevin and Kim have been excellentnThey both went over and above what can be realistically expected so thank you for this I am grateful.
This surgery is a joke, trying to sort out my partners medication due to him just been discharged from hospital on Friday, he has a terminal illness quite poorly in bed, the receptionist would not let me discuss anything with them even though I'm next of kin, I was told he will have to ring up to tell them he gives me permission to discuss his medication, this has since been done, a few minutes later he gets a call they now need a written letter to give me permission to discuss things on his behalf, surely a terminally I'll man should not have all this grief just for me to be able to speak to them, he's going through so much that I think this is appalling for him to have more stress just to get his medication, it's right what patients say, it's getting past the receptionist that's the hardest bit,
