First time, few weeks ago. Popped in for a drink before a gig but ended up having a bite to eat. Enjoyable. Loved the cauliflower bits just which I knew what they put on them as tasted oriental. Delicious Would definitely go again. Nice staff, outdoor seating and building. Vegetarian options: Cauliflower bites Vegetable spring roll Chips
Went for the first time for King of the Beats and was not disappointed. Loved the basement! Felt like old skool vibes, intimate and great energy. Loved the bricks, very manc vibe It was sold out but didn't feel overcrowded! Please put more nights on like this, loved it!! There's a cloakroom for coats. Staff were great. Upstairs has a more spacious, open plan feel. Great balcony for fresh air or a vape! Great location in the heart of Manchester
Entry: Read a lot of reviews about the door staff and how rude they were so we were a bit apprehensive but we didn't experience anything during our visit. The entry was easy we did come in early and overall experience was great. The Venue: Great basement with amazing sound system, I would recommend earbuds if you have sensitive ears. There is a cloak roam in the basement which charges £3 per piece. Toilets: Staff was continuously cleaning the facilities but do expect some smell which is understandable with that many people. The fact that you saw clearing staff every-time you went in says a lot about the management. Well done! Overall, great experience. Met some kind and fun people and enjoyed the music. Will come back for sure.
Avoid going here at all costs. The workers, owners and bouncers all are extremely patronising and try to bully people. Me and my friends had this night planned for a while and was very excited but just for our night to be ruined when they kicked our friend out for apparently being sick on himself yet his clothes were fine. They try intimidate you as you go in and talk to you like your dirt. Full of workers that just love a power trip and probably have some hatred for the world so they take it out on the people trying to have a good time.
Top staff ! Great place for a venue ! First time last Sunday for a 40th ! Amazing balcony outside terrace with beautiful views ! Their pizzas are to die for ! Staff are cool ! Try it your self !
Never left a review for a club before but after reading a few negatives before attending I thought I would. Cool small venue, excellent soundsystem in the basement, good selection of drinks at the bar and decent crowd/atmosphere. Seen a few people slating the security - they were fine with 1 member of the team helping us find our uber on the way out, although another member of security was making his presence known patrolling the dance floor which in a small capacity dance club seemed completely unnecessary to me. Having said that will definitely keep my eye out for events coming up and will look to come again.
Food was nice however, bad service. Got told they were serving slow on purpose because we were “too drunk” just because the group is a little bit loud but that’s just how they are. Didn’t get a full bottomless experience at all. One lovely server that tried her best but the guy was rude.
Terrible service, told our group of nearly 20 that they where slowing down services as they believed everyone there was drunk because we where enjoying a birthday and being a little bit loud, carried on to argue with the group, one of our tables got served once in an hour. Would not recommend especially if you are in a big group as they will try and save money by serving you less.
DO NOT GO HERE FOR A FOOTBALL MATCH! Absolute joke this place. Advertised as having 3 floors open for the football, 1 hour before ko, 1 floor open, 1 bar open with 2 yes only 2 bar staff trying to serve 200 people absolute joke. Would have been shut in an instant due to safety reasons if anyone official had driven past. Avoid this place like the plague. Nothing but liars!
I've been to so many places in Manchester where the food is just "ok". The food here is not only a third of the cost of most places, but also absolutely incredible! They even made a vegetarian version of their burger for my friend. Highly recommend; should definitely try the Chilli Gambino Burger and the Garlic and Rosemary fries So So So Good!
