Best pub in Porthcawl. Great beer and a convivial  atmosphere. Recent refurbishment has made  it even better whilst retaining the character of the place. The landlord and staff make everyone welcome. Food is good as well. Don't miss Joys  Wednesday night's charity  quiz.

Just had a wonderful meal here this evening. Food, serviceman atmosphere all first class. We liked it so much we booked to go back on Sunday.

Cosy pub with nice food. Fairly reasonable prices for drinks and meals. Unfortunately most of the beers come from SA Brain, so blandness tends to be the order of the day. If you're looking for interesting beers, then a Brains pub isn't going to bowl you over. Apart from that, lovely. Very dog friendly also which is a huge plus.
