Back for my second visit. The staff are warm and welcoming and the tapas are delicious. My only disappointment this visit is that the belly of pork skewers with apple sauce is no longer on the menu, I came especially for that. Having said that the replacement dishes sound appertizing so I've ordered some of those.
One of the nicest patio/garden bar pubs in the area, with the added bonus of friendly landlord and staff. So glad to see the Jolly came through Covid alive and well, and judging by the number of reserved tables business is booming. Highly recommended!
We had a birthday party in the garden area. The food and the staff are both great Tasty food and good, attentive service. They had arranged everything really well and everyone enjoyed the food. Well recommended

Nice cozy little pub. The outside dining area could be a bit cleaner but the staff are friendly and the food is good. Since our last visit we see a lot of cleaning up and refurb. Great stuff..had a drink there yesterday and congratulated the staff on improvements
Friendly service, comfortable dining space at the rear of the pub. Great tapas selection - the goats cheese balls were a firm favourite along with the haddock gratin. Lovely rioja to pair.
A lovely old freehold pub, great atmosphere, friendly staff with an amazing restaurant hidden in the back, a real gem of a place, an unusual mix of locals and dinners. They have managed to create something special, I look forward to going back and trying the tapas we didn't try last night.Food: 5/5
Such a fantastic family run restaurant. Lovely vibe, and the food is the best food I have ever eaten. No joke. The only place I would pay restaurant prices for a takeaway... And did several times during the lockdown.
